My opinion
The left hand corresponds to Ida Nadi , the passive element and represents the past impressions and prarabdha karma.
The right hand corresponds to Pingala Nadi which represents the active principle and thus it dominates in palmistry.

Dammit...!! So if the left hand has all the good symbols and the right hand (active hand) has all downward lines, then native will basically have a very shitty life huh..?
And my left hand pitri rekha is full and clean...while right hand pitri rekha is broken in half. So I'm screwed now..??
