Very interesting. You basically get more subscribers in one short than my total 😂
I personally don’t watch short videos for two main reasons. First, I dislike vertical formatting on videos. I watch on a TV screen, not a phone. Second, I prefer longer content that gets into some depth on a subject. If I could filter out short videos from my subscription feed, I would. I’ve even unsubscribed from channels that make a lot of shorts because they clog up my feed. Fortunately that doesn’t apply to Coin Patrol. 🙂
It is somewhat shocking to see how poorly the short videos pay. Considering how much UA-cam is pushing that format to content creators, they don’t provide much monetary incentive. Even the extra subscribers doesn’t really count on UA-cam any longer, as the analytics favor views and viewing duration over subscriber counts. Indeed, it’s funny how they favor viewing duration so much these days, but are encouraging creators to make short videos. Go figure.

Google is so generous. I have watched the cycling short & like the design.
I tend to only watch the shorts if the pop up in my feed & the subject tickles my fancy.
Having grown up with the old £sd it seems outrageous that mere pennies can sell for £20+
I love British coins.They are my favorite world coins to collect.Unfortunately I don't see very much here in the States.
If you have a local coin shop, stop by and ask about their foreign coin selection. Often dealers have a bin of cheap world coins that they sell for anywhere from a dime to 50 cents per coin. You can find a decent amount of the bronze and cupronickel coinage that way.

A lot of work for not much reward Paul. But I know that although good when you get some monetary rewards, it's your love of coins that rewards you most, plus you really enjoy the membership that follows you. I for one have been a member for a few years now & always check daily for your new vlogs. Keep up the great wok Paul

i do not watch shorts---- i assume because i'm thinking that if its just lasting for 20-30 seconds or whatever there will not really be anything in it..On the other hand Video's not described as "short" i will watch-- including all of those that you have uploaded.
..some of the coin video's are scammers looking for subscribers..usually 2p coin video's..
