    I agree with everything you had to say in this video. We just bought two nuggets for our three toddlers for Christmas, and they are loving them! I'm sure they would love the pikler triangle as well, but this one definitely wins out as far as versatility and overall use!

    I got the blocksy and mega wedges by foamnasium. The blocksy is like a nugget but wipeable. Instead of a Pikler, I got an adjustable climber from etsy that can be made into different shapes. It came with a reversible smooth ramp/ stone wall climer. Love them both and can adjust the climber to have a flat top and then put the pieces of blocksy on top of it. I have a daycare so these items will never be outgrown.

      Oh yeah I’ve Foamnasium online and seems handy to wipe. But never seen one in person. Is the martial kind of like those gym mats back in elementary school? Having a your own daycare is a great way to repurpose items that your child outgrows!

      @@kevin-lu blocksy by foamnasium has pieces that are almost identical to the nugget. The two smallest pieces aren't triangles, though. Since i got the mega wedges too, we're able to make more unique builds without feeling the need to buy a second blocksy. The foam is very very thick and dense and will hold the weight of an adult without collapsing too much.

    We got the pikler triangle with the different pieces and arch while my in laws got the nugget at their house. Our space is just too small for the nugget so having a foldable pikler has been nice. My son seems to play with them equally.

      A foldable Pikler is better for storing away when not in use as the Nugget probably just gets left out. My son is a bit more random and seems to enjoy both but he does get very excited with new Nugget builds.

    If you have a crafty family member you can definitely make a very basic Pickler triangle. that’s how we did ours and it was under 100$ plus a weekend of our time

      I wish I knew someone close enough to us that had the knowledge! Making your own Pikler is definitely the best bang for your buck.

      Would it also be possible to make a Nugget from firm foam ..?!

      @kevin-lu  Рік тому

      I’ve heard the foam used in Foamnasium is much more firm.

    I bought the triangle I didn't pay too much for my triangle paid like under $200. And I love the triangle my daughter's on it all the time we have the ramp piece. it was totally worth the money. The Nugget looks like a lot of fun but we ended up getting a used set of foam blocks which I really like because they're small enough for her to be able to handle and you could use it in conjunction with the couch. And they store much easier than then the nugget when not in use.

    • @kevin-lu
      @kevin-lu  Рік тому

      Yeah the Nugget doesn’t store well. Ours is left out all the time.

    Love the review, very helpful as always! We just got a convertible pikler style climber second hand. Attraction is that it can fold down at least into two long sections and the slide.

      @kevin-lu  Рік тому

      I did leave off that important reason to pick the Pikler is that they do store away more easily. The Nugget has no real way to store.

    My thoughts are the same. We didn't get the Pikler for our son since I couldn't picture paying over $300 for it! The Nugget seemed like the better deal and my son still loves it. I do have the urge to purchase a 2nd one. And it doesn't help that they keep coming out with more covers!

      Those new cover sets are definitely tempting. Even after 3 Nuggets I always want to buy more covers! 😅
