Huge shout out to Elite Exped for hosting me up at base camp! Hit up www.eliteexped.com if you're interested in an Everest adventure yourself! Next two episodes are my favorite so be sure to tune back in!
"But you're a storyteller... that's so impressive. At the end of the day all we have is human connection" - The woman climbing Everest with a blind person Don the vids are amazing and inspiring, keep it up
First 8 and last 10 seconds of this vid somehow got muted in the export so had to add random music on UA-cam. I'm upset but luckily you didn’t miss any dialogue, just some dope tunes/helicopter sounds. Thanks for watching as always!
@thewontondon Why do some of these people stay there for so long? Are they climbing multiple mountains? disregard. the Irishman stated why they are there for so long.
@@thelocalsmithy7266 Luckily he has an amazing catalog that you get to binge like I did when I found him. Go back in time and watch the adventures in China.
Can’t help but get emotional watching this. That last woman summed it up perfectly. You are a storyteller and you bring these incredible adventures to us who can’t experience them. Forever grateful for the Wonton Don, you absolute legend
The Don does it again, another legendry series. Got to respect his progress but also how real he's kept it over the years. Don't change on us Donny when the big dogs come knocking.
The ending with you expressing how amazing all these people who are summiting the mountain is clear but when she turns around and says how you’re amazing with the story telling and putting a spotlight on what’s going on was beautiful. You’re awesome Donnie, you’re what anthony Bourdain was to this generation as was to my father. Love your content and super surprised you’re not bigger to this day. Commendable stuff my man
Donnie daring to go where no stoolie has gone before. As long as you keep posting you'll continue to be the best Barstool has to offer. One more banger in the books, great job!
That was a really kind moment from the lady at the end. You are a storyteller Donnie, and this story fucking rocks. Loving this series dude what a badass experience to be a part of. Everyone here is so damn impressive really it's quite inspirational. The mental fortitude from these people is off the charts
I love the series. I am just disaapointed at what summiting everest has become. It used to be the peak of mounteneering, with hard conditions, only suitable for the upmost experienced. Now anyone can pay to stay in VIP lounges and have hot meals prepared by a chef at basecamp. I was thinking about going to everest, as a mountain clinmber myself, but all this commercialisation, takes away one of the most beautiful elements of summiting a mountain. The challange.
I feel like a broken record repeating what many people are saying , but just like the woman at the end ascribed to you Donnie , you’re a great storyteller highlighting the people around the mountain rather than the actual spectacle they’re all there for. Genuinely happy that we’re all able to go on these adventures with you through UA-cam. That part at the end kinda got me choked up , keep it up wonton don.
Wonton Don has to be one of the most underrated vloggers/storytellers in the realm of digital media. Credit to his cameraman as well, hell of a job from both.
These videos keep getting better, I don’t want this series to end 🥲 The people Wonton met along this whole journey are truly incredible and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing this experience with us!!!
Watching his series especially the whole mountain adventure is like reading a fun book that you wanna come back and catch up where you left off. He lets out his wildest imagination and showcases them in his videos. A truly fun luvin storyteller!!! Thanks for all your effort Wonton Don!!
Right on man, right on. On May 17 at 8:34 am Nepal time, against the backdrop of Tibetan prayer flags, Dr. Jacob Weasel, a 36-year-old citizen of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, made history. Perched atop the Himalayas, Weasel became the first recorded Native American to summit Mount Everest.
I’m just shocked that all those tents, mattresses, tables, chairs, etc were all brought up by the sherpas. That’s just insane! Praise the Sherpa. And don’t forget the YAK!
I started with Everest horror stories and now I am watching the air bnb everest here...they have more food on everest then I have in my kitchen right now....
That was the best video I’ve ever seen. No lie that was awesome from camera to narrating and just Donnie showing us very one’s story. Just great work !
Remy Kloos said it well, you are a great story teller who’s true to himself and so kind to others. It can be intimidating for anyone to experience people who are different from them but you continue to make amazing connections and bring us along with you! Much love Don and I’d love to down some cold ones and crank some hoons with you one day
I think your respect for the people that are being interviewed shows in the way you are rocking your legs, you're almost nervous. I've had that feeling in other situations, the feeling of speaking to someone that you admire, whether you know the person or not. I discovered your channel a week ago and you being funny, respectful and deep is amazing! If you ever come to Florence, hit me up!
This series has been so amazing. Love getting to know all of these other people along the way on top of the awesome experience of seeing what this trek entails. So many cool backgrounds and stories. That woman was correct, having a good storyteller to put all of this out to the world is impressive itself. Thank you for taking us all long for the ride with you.
ELITE EXPED is a revolutionary modern luxurious alternative from EBC all the way to summit, you are under the guidance of legends and guiness record holders of mountaineering.
Wonton Don is simply the best, you’ve inspired me to dive deep into Everest history, it’s such an amazing place! Starting a book called Into The Silence today. About the first climbers to ever map and attempt to climb Everest in the 1920’s! Thank you Donnie for sharing these incredible stories as always!
watching this through your eyes is amzing dude. see stuff you wouldn't see on a expect show or whatever. its nice because you're just a normal guy doing it and showing us as is with honestly. never disappoint man.
What an amazing video. So awesome 🍾 The tour of the "rich people" tents was cool! The interviews were even better. I am stoked for whatever they got coming. Side note: I would love to see Donny do a week at Slab City... That would be a gnarly series. PS: Everest Smoke Show at 15 minutes 46 seconds!
This is an incredible series Donny, truly inspiring i find. As someone who is looking to one day have adventures like this, these videos provide more motivation and belief that it can be done
Hey Don, been following you for 6ish years at this point. Loved your content, since I came across it. I think it would be incredible if at some point in this series, you really talked about the sherpas and how uncomfortable or a topic that is currently and has been for a minute. Currently the rate of a Sherpas life on Everest is about 10k usd. When they are the folks doing all the work and setting all the lines, if you don’t know much about the subject, there’s muchos info online. And would really appreciate you using your platform to shed some light on this contentious issue. Thanks brother 🙏
I really enjoyed this video. It’s a different type of Everest video showing base camp. Crazy how luxurious it is now a days. I think it’s dangerous for people who think ascending Everest will be easy and end up dead.
Amazing stuff Donnie, not only has it been entertaining but it’s been great to learn about all the people youve met along the way. The last 3 ladies were all incredibly badass!
Donnie! Hello from Somerville! Thank you for doing this series- I've wanted to visit the Everest base camp for ages and never thought i'd be capable of it- you have shown me that nothing is impossible!
This docu series is amazing. The incredible people, the scenery, the stories, accomplishments. The insane abilities od the sherpas. Thanks for doing this. That woman was right about human connection.

Amazing episode. Thanks Wonton Don. Keep inspiring people like me
holy fuck great content The Wonton Don is #1
I recently begun making UA-cam videos. Does anyone have advice on how I can improve them?
lol what about all the sherpas and workers that even made all this possible where’s their shoutout !? #BANEVERESTTOURISM
Got a discount code?
Has to be one the best series Don has ever done. The characters, scenes, experience is truly phenomenal
Lies. Go back to getting drunk in Taco Bell in China Donny
Tajikistan was pretty damn good too tho 😅
I say that everytime, even when i rewatch a series i say "oh this is the best." Donnie is just good, he was born for this.
It’s really stupid due to the fact that they contribute to even more pollution and destruction of the nature 🤦♂️
Easily

Barely noticed it Donnie
I'm never not grateful for discovering the Wonton Don. Thanks for taking us all on these epic adventures.
Thank you for following along!
I found him from the recent mad honey video haha wish I found him sooner
@@thelocalsmithy7266 Luckily he has an amazing catalog that you get to binge like I did when I found him. Go back in time and watch the adventures in China.
I found him with area 51 vid binged his vack catalogue after
And the people he meets along the way, never fails. Never saw a video I haven’t enjoyed, and pretty sure I’ve seen them all.
That lady at the end was so kind. You really are a great story teller and getting peoples stories out there.
What a great perspective she had. I hope they make it and descend successfully, and healthy! Badass!!!
This is seriously turning into one of the best series I've ever watched..Can't get enough of it
Best travel channel on the internet. Top 5 personality at Barstool. Wonton Don never misses.
Top 1
Can’t help but get emotional watching this. That last woman summed it up perfectly. You are a storyteller and you bring these incredible adventures to us who can’t experience them. Forever grateful for the Wonton Don, you absolute legend

Some of those shots with the mountain behind Donnie looked so unreal
