Thank you for your reaction. Dimash worked on this for 3 years. He composed the music, wrote the script, sang, acted, and financed the creation of this masterpiece. The boy drowning is Dimash's character. The girl became his wife, and the other character became the commander. The child killed is the daughter of Dimash's character and his wife. She dies giving birth to the son. So, all 3 of the original youths die on the same day. Dimash's character at the end is his grown son leading others to the light. This premiered at the Almaty concert. He makes all the sounds, which you see and hear in the live performance. He was recognized by the Pope for this piece of art.

Also, a lot of reactors and analysts of the video focus primarily on the Dimash vocal technique and cinematography of the video but almost none covered composition and orchestration of the music itself created by Dimash as a composer. I think what Dimash composed is a brilliant symphony with the entire orchestra and so many instruments involved. I cannot remember if anyone created such a music composition in 21 century so far. How the person in a such young age can create so complex music?!
For us Dears, this song is up there and it is amazing to hear Dimash said he is not up there yet and that he needs to gain more experience and learn more to make great music as if this particular song is not already a complex song. I believe, because he still feel and think this way, he is still in a creative search to write/compose something greater than this. I remember he said, making music is like building the world in which you cant take lightly. With Dimash, everytime you think you've seen his best, he always make something greater than the last. This is all Dimash. He composed the music, had his words put into English lyrics, and produced the song. He worked on the music for three years between all his studies, work and his solo concert tours. He had the idea for the video content, wrote the script, the screenplay and storyboard and worked closely with the director to make sure that his vision was made perfectly clear. Every vocal sound you hear apart from the dictators speech, is Dimash, high notes and all the very low notes, the throat singing, the feminine voice every single note is him.There were no other vocalists involved. He appeared as the main character from him under the boardwalk as the soldier to the end. The kids grew to be the soldier, his wife and the Dictator. The little girl that was killed was his daughter and the baby born as he was cradling her body was his son who grew to look just like his father and led the pilgrims towards the light. This is what is in Dimash's heart, he is so anti war, he also loves children and he uplifts them at every opportunity, its part of Kazakh culture. This is a true masterpiece and deserves to be an award winning short film. ❤ Dimash is not only the most technically proficient singer, he is also able to put so much of his soul into his music that it affects us physically, so much emotion. At the very end of the song he had a slight accident with the microphone which proved without a doubt that the microphone had been "live" all the way through, not just for the first section.

The lyrics of the song and Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and the video direction by Alina Veripya! (2) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time); (3) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Thank you for your great reaction to this masterpiece. In The Story Of One Sky he composed and sang the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. This video is mostly about the message. For the first time it is more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately (that's your job😉). But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. Many have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. During his concerts he always tells the audience he loves all people in every country. He visited so many different counties with his concerts and he realized that there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Om", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches. I’m so happy you watched this video first before doing the live performance! I have looked through the comments but I couldn’t find one explaining about the necklace Dimash’s character is making for himself and his friends on the beach. The metal piece he finds is a sundial compass. The hole in it allows the light to come through which helps finding the true north. The boy that turns commander is jealous of the love between his two friends and doesn’t want to accept the gift. Instead of putting it around his neck he bends it in his curled fist and destroy the ability of finding his true north. His logo on the uniform is the broken sundial with no hole in it. I feel that is the biggest symbolic feature in this video. Also the people in the desert are representing all different religions in the world and how we all really just want the same thing. Peace and happiness under one sky

Thank you! Many have explained things already but there are a few things in the symbolism I have not seen mentioned. The small metal piece used for the three necklaces is a gnomon, the vertical piece of a sundial. The hole in the center allows the light to shine through so it can be used for navigation. Here I think it means having a moral compass. The Piper bends his and whenever you see it associated with him..his uniform etc, the hole is gone. He has lost his way. The people in the desert represent people in history from all religions who have given their lives to teach us peace and brotherhood..including Jesus. In this portion of the score Dimash is actually singing all the world’s great religions, finishing in the highest portion, I think, with Christianity and church bells. At the end many think Dimash is the baby grown up. That is certainly one way to look at it. I think it means Dimash also gave his life and he has joined the rest, marching toward the light. This is certainly very, very deep and Dimash’s inclusion of all this symbolism in writing the screenplay is truly astonishing, to say nothing of the score. You will find as you learn more and more about him that his voice is as big as the universe but so are his mind and his heart.
I was in his Live Concert's in Astana last month 😭😭😭😭 "The Story of One Sky" Dimash's singing and begging about the The World without WAR. WE NEED PEACE!!! I was screaming and crying with Kazakh mother's beside me and we hug each other. I feel the pain of him and it was something extraordinary!

Someone really should have told you all these things before they asked you to do this song. Some dears ask too much of reactors too soon. This is all him. Not only is he the only voice on this track, he wrote the music and the screenplay too. This took 3 years for him to complete.
Thank you. ALL vocals are Dimash's. Dimash worked on this for 3 yrs and did everything possible himself and financed all else. The performance of this for the council of religion was in Kazakhstan and the Pope gave Dimash a medal for his work for peace. The drowning boy becomes the soldier, the taller boy becomes the commander, the girl becomes the pregnant wife of the soldier, the little murdered child was hers and the soldier's child. The necklace is a gnome which is a piece of a compass. The taller boy was rejected by the girl and he squeezes it an his becomes bent as does his belief system when he is grown. The pilgrims represent all religions struggling to the light, to peace. The commander is killed by the soldier and the soldier is killed by the commander's men, and the mother dies in childbirth. The child then wears the necklace and ends up leading the pilgrims towards the light. This is an epic masterpiece from Dimash and everyone should see it. And on top of everything, Dimash's vocals are breathtaking and I can't think of anyone else who could do what he did. Dimash performs this at his concerts!

Thank you for your reaction. Dimash worked on this for 3 years. He composed the music, wrote the script, sang, acted, and financed the creation of this masterpiece. The boy drowning is Dimash's character. The girl became his wife, and the other character became the commander. The child killed is the daughter of Dimash's character and his wife. She dies giving birth to the son. So, all 3 of the original youths die on the same day. Dimash's character at the end is his grown son leading others to the light. This premiered at the Almaty concert. He makes all the sounds, which you see and hear in the live performance. He was recognized by the Pope for this piece of art.

This is all Dimash. He composed the music, had his words put into English lyrics, and produced the song. He worked on the music for three years between all his studies, work and his solo concert tours. He had the idea for the video content, wrote the script, the screenplay and storyboard and worked closely with the director to make sure that his vision was made perfectly clear. Every vocal sound you hear apart from the dictators speech, is Dimash, high notes and all the very low notes, the throat singing, the feminine voice every single note is him.There were no other vocalists involved. He appeared as the main character from him under the boardwalk as the soldier to the end. The kids grew to be the soldier, his wife and the Dictator. The little girl that was killed was his daughter and the baby born as he was cradling her body was his son who grew to look just like his father and led the pilgrims towards the light. This is what is in Dimash's heart, he is so anti war, he also loves children and he uplifts them at every opportunity, its part of Kazakh culture. This is a true masterpiece and deserves to be an award winning short film. ❤ Dimash is not only the most technically proficient singer, he is also able to put so much of his soul into his music that it affects us physically, so much emotion. (1) Dimash composed the song and participated in the arrangement, in addition to acting in the mini-film. The lyrics of the song and Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and the video direction by Alina Veripya!
(2) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time);
(3) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Yeah, well, the "pied piper" (also called "ratcatcher") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses a mesmerizing speech and leads to death!
(4) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon;
(5) The final text is part of the document generated at the 2019 Congress of World Religious Leaders and the music presented at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 14/09/2022 and was attended by of Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church and who presented Dimash, on the occasion, with a medal of gratitude.

In The Story Of One Sky he composed and sang the whole soundtrack himself.
The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. This video is mostly about the message. For the first time it is more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately (that's your job😉). But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it.
He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay.
The premiere was on September 24, 2022.
Many have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. During his concerts he always tells the audience he loves all people in every country. He visited so many different counties with his concerts and he realized that there are no bad nations (only bad leaders).
And OMG he is such a phenomenal actor.
Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace.
In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Om", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches.

By the way Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed this song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰.

I have looked through the comments but I couldn’t find one explaining about the necklace Dimash’s character is making for himself and his friends on the beach. The metal piece he finds is a sundial compass. The hole in it allows the light to come through which helps finding the true north. The boy that turns commander is jealous of the love between his two friends and doesn’t want to accept the gift. Instead of putting it around his neck he bends it in his curled fist and destroy the ability of finding his true north. His logo on the uniform is the broken sundial with no hole in it. I feel that is the biggest symbolic feature in this video. Also the people in the desert are representing all different religions in the world and how we all really just want the same thing. Peace and happiness under one sky

Thank you! Many have explained things already but there are a few things in the symbolism I have not seen mentioned. The small metal piece used for the three necklaces is a gnomon, the vertical piece of a sundial. The hole in the center allows the light to shine through so it can be used for navigation. Here I think it means having a moral compass. The Piper bends his and whenever you see it associated with him..his uniform etc, the hole is gone. He has lost his way. The people in the desert represent people in history from all religions who have given their lives to teach us peace and brotherhood..including Jesus. In this portion of the score Dimash is actually singing all the world’s great religions, finishing in the highest portion, I think, with Christianity and church bells. At the end many think Dimash is the baby grown up. That is certainly one way to look at it. I think it means Dimash also gave his life and he has joined the rest, marching toward the light. This is certainly very, very deep and Dimash’s inclusion of all this symbolism in writing the screenplay is truly astonishing, to say nothing of the score.
You will find as you learn more and more about him that his voice is as big as the universe but so are his mind and his heart.

I was in his Live Concert's in Astana last month 😭😭😭😭 "The Story of One Sky" Dimash's singing and begging about the The World without WAR. WE NEED PEACE!!! I was screaming and crying with Kazakh mother's beside me and we hug each other. I feel the pain of him and it was something extraordinary!

This is all him. Not only is he the only voice on this track, he wrote the music and the screenplay too. This took 3 years for him to complete.

Thank you. ALL vocals are Dimash's. Dimash worked on this for 3 yrs and did everything possible himself and financed all else. The performance of this for the council of religion was in Kazakhstan and the Pope gave Dimash a medal for his work for peace. The drowning boy becomes the soldier, the taller boy becomes the commander, the girl becomes the pregnant wife of the soldier, the little murdered child was hers and the soldier's child. The necklace is a gnome which is a piece of a compass. The taller boy was rejected by the girl and he squeezes it an his becomes bent as does his belief system when he is grown. The pilgrims represent all religions struggling to the light, to peace. The commander is killed by the soldier and the soldier is killed by the commander's men, and the mother dies in childbirth. The child then wears the necklace and ends up leading the pilgrims towards the light. This is an epic masterpiece from Dimash and everyone should see it. And on top of everything, Dimash's vocals are breathtaking and I can't think of anyone else who could do what he did. Dimash performs this at his concerts!

Me gusta mucho el trabajo que haces con las diferentes reacciones. Lo haces con mucho respeto tanto para los que no tenemos estudios de música como para los que si los tienen. Dejas correr el video y uno lo disfruta, luego haces tu respetado análisis, dejando que uno escoja seguir mirando o no. Confieso que no se nada de música, pero siempre me quedo hasta el final porque haces que sea fácil entender lo que deseas explicar.
