Very good video, finally someone who knows Eastern aircraft very well and doesn't tell bullshit. The "storage shelf" on the copilot side is actually a rack for signal flares, there also should be a flare gun in the co pilot side cockpit wall. Those were used for communication with the ground in case of radio failure, and more so for illuminating the ground during forced landings
Thank you! The radio was driving me crazy until I learned the correct order now: first inverter on, then radio switch on, and then generator on. Also, couldn't turn on the ground but then I had no clue about the tailwheel lock switch. Sometimes it's worth to watch tutorials first, even if one has tons of sim and a substantial amount of real world piloting experience :)
Hi! 22:30 The AGK-47 attitude indicator is electric driven, so no vacuum needed. 3phase 400Hz 36V source from the "rotary converter": ua-cam.com/video/I_eXOMxtve0/v-deo.html

Ah! I see someone beat me to pointing out the flare thing :)
12:10 This one is OAT indicator. The carburetor temperature indicator is on the pilot side.
