@@josephbryant1666 idk about that having 50 endurance allows you to swing a lot more plus scout you’re going to be catching victims off guard a lot quicker and in return getting kills sooner
@@brachialtick6539 the only downside is speed😂 nothing else take a hit endurance is max if your that dependent off 1 perk then you should reconsider how good you think you are especially on a character that can easily catch most victims you can try to say it’s bad but 9 times out of 10 you likely don’t know wtf your talking about and Damm sure probably don’t play him like that .
Overkill Johnny build: Hysterical strength, Vial-ent, and scout. 50 savagery, 29 blood harvesting, 30 endurance. I've been using this build ever since the update. Im not telling anyone that they HAVE to use those specific perks, they're just what I prefer to use. Im simply just recommending them. You can change some of them around. At the end of the day, It doesnt matter as long as you can effectively eliminate victims. It was actually supposed to be an "overkill" build anyway. Also, damage perks do, in fact, stack. ☝️🤓

It's a crutch perk designed for newer players vs veterans of the game since day 1. Honestly the only one in the game who actually needs it is cook and even then it's not impossible to catch victims as Cook without it. Just takes coordination and tactile movements. So again, to reiterate, if you need to use scout every match, you don't deserve to use it.
i think the skill tree rework is overall a victim nerf. All my perks on killers are great (cook, hitch, johnny, sissy) but when i play victim i am noticing a lot less bomb squads and extra drips because of the removal of the random perk system
Basically every gate is far enough from a gap/well Johnny can butcher them before they can be reached. Not saying he's OP but let's not pretend he isn't a monster in the hands of a competent player

@16:40 how good is lone survivor now, some time ago that final survivor buff to stam was rly nice, i had been wondering how much lone survivor added b4 then but now its gotta be alooot, i always ran it on sonny and liked that it alwaysapplied to the last one in the match so if i chickened out and burst out a distraction opening i felt like i still helped,

Its more freedom now u can actually pick the perks u want instead of trying to copy or use what someone else is using. The random perks were a pain & wasted so much time. This rework shown the light on some very underrated builds
You'd gain just under 4 damage. Realistically You'd never get value from it as you'd only really get the boost for a single hit in a chase. I suppose in theory it might be enough to get the kill before they well but the perk slot could almost always be better used on something else.
The other commentator has a point. Johnny is weak when going against strong grappler builds(especially Lealand grapplers). Once grappled by survivors, he is left being stunlocked and left to find the survivors again. Bubba doesn't have this weakness(unless stabbed in the back). Although, you're right about base savegery Johnny. He's as strong as Bubba.@RobbySelfFishing

This is my new favorite build to run on Johnny post skill tree reset. Rinses them in 4-5 hits when you got Via-lent active

Hysterical strength is a useless perk that never procs and you want endurance
damage perks dont stack, dont run those perkks together

I use this build on Johnny with one small difference, Serated and Tracker tagged instead of Unrelenting and Scout.
Scout is too good to pass up. And max endurance too.

I run the same build but woth activated. 40% melee boost after close encounter for 40 seconds
Situational, not always gonna get grappled or stabbed but you'll always be able to get blood

Ithe chances are super high of getting grappled lol. And 40 seconds is plenty of time to wreck havoc, especially if you also use scout.
