Youth Parliament Session Conducted in KV IIT Indore

The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has been organizing the Youth Parliament Competitions since 1966 in various educational institutions of the country with an aim to strengthen the roots of democracy, inculcate the healthy habits of discipline, develop tolerance of divergent views and familiarize the student community with the procedures and functioning of parliament. Since the year 1988, these competitions have been held for the various Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) across the country under the National Youth Parliament Competition Scheme for Kendriya Vidyalayas.
The noble intentions and objectives of the Youth Parliament programme have been lauded by all quarters including the parliamentarians, academicians, bureaucrats, etc. In the past, many requests have been received to involve more and more institutions under the programme of the Ministry. However, participation under the competition is restricted to a selected number of institutions. Therefore, to increase the coverage under the programme to hitherto untouched sections and corners of the country, the Ministry designed a web-portal of National Youth Parliament Scheme.
In this regard, KV IIT Indore has organized one session for Youth Parliament on Nov 28, 2022. The role played by various students of the Vidyalaya. Principal Mr. J. P. Bohre appreciated the parliament proceedings and wished these shining little champs [Leaders in making] with great success in the near future.
