- The easiest way to make sure that I eat healthy and more specifically, eat my vegetables, is to prep them ahead of time for the week. This is how I have been doing it lately. I've been making these vegetables for a couple of weeks now and I'm still not tired of eating them... there's just something about garlic salt, it makes everything taste SO GOOD!

Thanks for your suggestions. I roasted separate trays of chopped cabbage, cauliflower and a combo tray of mushrooms, carrots, and peppers. I tried them without oil this time and was happy with the result. In addition to garlic salt, I liberally used chopped chives and dried basil.
That sounds delish! I actually did cauliflower last night too. 😁
I can't believe you put the cabbage core in your compost pile - - sliced thin, it is so crunchy and delicious !!! Love the woody broccoli stem, peeled - - tastes just like kohlrabi, another favorite !!!
I'll have to try it!
@@Wikipamela Try it, you'll like it !!! (I'm saying it with a Yiddish accent) 😂😂😂
@@Wikipamela Hmmm - - I edited my first post to add the peeled broccoli comment. You had already given me a heart, but it went away - - I didn't know that would happen !!!
@@carolwilliams7052 oooh, interesting! That's not something I knew either!
Nice job. Barca!!!
I absolutely love your videos so helpful...I just struggle with the background music 😩
Great video...do you reheat them or do you serve up cold? Thanks
I reheat. They reheat great in the microwave.
For folks trying to follow SOS, I wonder if mill-ground celery seed + granulated garlic would be a good substitute for the garlic salt ??? Gonna try it...
Celery seed and garlic powder/granulated garlic is a good option. You can also just use garlic powder or granulated garlic and omit the salt completely.
Hello WikiPamela! Learning so much from you. Thank You. When you are steaming broccoli are you using the same lid for pressure cooking or do you use a lid that would be used for a slow cooker? Thanks!
I use the same lid as I use for slow cooking. The Instant Pot won't allow the use of the pressure cooking lid with the saute function, it gives an error.
Hiya, Are you still doing bright line eating? NIce prep.
I am! This makes getting in all my veggies super easy. I usually take a bit of cabbage, a bit of broccoli, and a bit of mushrooms for each veggie serving versus having just one of them for my whole veggie serving.
