You should try Minecraft: "Better than Adventure". It basically continues minecraft in a timeline that didn't get the Adventure Update back in the day, so the experience is basically a polished Beta version of the game with a few new but fitting additions. Just search for it on UA-cam ^^
I'm 25 and I know my life path isn't exactly this way that things typically go, namely because I kind of always knew I wasn't going to be going to college or following that typical path that you're pushed towards in school. So what happened for me was that I dropped out of school at 16, had a blast for a few years just playing video games and hanging out with friends until I got a job as a janitor, and now I've been doing that for over 6 years, and I really want to do something else. I still don't think I can do college, but recently on a whim I decided to start a business myself, which is something that I wanted to do since I was a kid, I made a project about it in highschool, but I've never actually committed to it. I have no idea if it'll actually be successful but I feel like I've got nothing to lose at this point since I'm obviously not doing anything else with my life.
I'm so glad new channels are starting to pop up using this format, really love it! In an age of retention editing, sitting down and having a chat with a mate is my favourite youtube format

As someone in graduate school, putting up with 9-12 hour days 6 days a week really makes me want to quit and find something I can do with just my bachelors 40 hours a week 5 days… I know there is a huge reward at the end but I’ve only made it 8 or 9 months in and it feels like I’m losing out on life, I’ve all but abandoned my hobbies for example… But the risk of quitting and MAYBE regretting it 30 years from now is so hard
"I figured it out now" Was it to stop buying avocado toast ? 🤣 7:16 This is something I learned from the Vlogger period of UA-cam, social media tends to for the most part show a very curated part of someone's life. Important to keep that in mind, lots of people get massive anxiety cause they compare themselves to such highly curated content. Wish people didn't do that, it's not healthy to always trying to play catchup with the Jone's's
I know I’m commenting like 2 months after this has been posted, but i literally don’t know what I’m gonna do with my life, I’m not sure what I’ll be happy with as a career or how I’m gonna be successful. If it comes down to no hope whatsoever, I’m just gonna go into the army, bro I don’t even know how I’m gonna find a wife. After high school, all it was is a big “now what?”. I’m so lost bro. How do people become successful? How do people even do it.
It’s crazy that this video popped up. What are the chances, and for starters great video I agree with you. I really hit rock bottom after graduating high school at the start of the pandemic. I went to college and couldn’t keep up. I couldn’t do anything. And ultimately it took me three years to figure out the same answer as you. I can only help myself and no one else can. Once I realized that, like truly understood that, my life has changed for the better. I started to go to therapy and got on meds. I even broke up with my bf because ultimately I need to give myself the full attention. And social media really is harmful, seeing my classmates go to school and living life. I felt so much pity for myself and hated myself. It was awful and still sometimes the emotions the creep up. Change is hard and it’s not a fast process. But break it down into steps and take each day one by one. Now I’m in my second semester at college and pursuing something I love! Thank you for the video it really is a great reminder that I’m not the only one. ❤❤
My UA-cam feed merely consists of science videos but lately a ton of Minecraft videos have been showing up and it’s actually helping with my headspace. Minecraft has this weird feeling of loneliness and idk why but it makes me better about being alone. I guess it’s the feeling of acceptance or maybe it’s a stepping stone to getting actual help? Even though it’s literally a nightmare to be alone all the time and I firmly believe that is human nature no matter how much someone claims to be anti social. Success is really nice and all but no matter how successful you are, if you don’t have someone to share that success with, it doesn’t really mean anything to me anyways.
There is a lot of difficulty when it comes to job finding after college. A lot of schools either don't tell you how to find good work or they only barely mention it. I'm currently in school for software development and engineering and I'm trying to find an IT job for some experience in the field and it's difficult.
