As a HUGE Shabaka Hutchings and (almost lifelong) N.O.W. fan, I am so SO excited for this album.
Got to see N.O.W. in Phoenix and pretty near danced my feet off [seriously far beyond what was healthy for my frame]. Only regret was how much the audience talked during the between-track space where E.A.S.E. was trying to share his journey as an artist. I really hate the overwhelming din drowning out those sacred bits of sharing.
I love Shabaka's blazing, intense work on Comet is Coming and Sons of Kemet. Huge respect for the artistry and gratitude for the vibes sharing.
