At this moment listening to this on vinyl...
It has only just dawned on me (30 odd years later 🙈🙈) how much the sound and feel of Quo changed when Alan Lancaster left.
Don't get me wrong - Rhino Edwards is technically a far better bass player ( and a top geezer)- its just the gritty rawness from Lancaster that I loved and gives me goose pimples
