The problem with vegetarian food in S.Korea is they see chicken and eggs as veg. So, you must double check the ingredients. And to check the ingredients you should know Korean because almost everything they showed was written in it.😩
Nearly all around globe chicken and egg is treated as veg. Just like milk products are treated as veg in India.only sharp distinction arises for VEGANs.

But vegan is more of a foreign concept but here in India we treat animals like cow as sacred animals and treat them as God but in foreign they give injections to such animals for food that's why people prefer be to vegan there

They coat their seaweed with fish oil and sometime they add fish sauce to khimchi and most of the dishes so you have to check for that too.
