I am from NY but my background is Guyanese and we strive here too to keep up our culture. However, I would love to connect with people from the mainland Up in hopes of one day visiting and finding my roots..

The same history belongs to the people of Suriname and Guyana in the west indies.
In Suriname they still speak Bhojpuri language. In the rest of the carribean that language is lost I think
