Age of Empires 1 - All sound effects

- I extracted the raw sound files with Dragon unpacker, a program that downloads .pak files, and put them all in this video since i noticed that in 20 years, nobody bothered to make something similar.
Unfortunately UA-cam seems to have damaged the quality of the files for some unknown reason.
How do you download/listen to these sounds?
There are numerous ways:
Essentially what you need to do is to open the .drs folder with a program that can open it, and one that can play the sound effects, i used Dragon UnPAKer and VLC respectively, as they are both free and very useful.
To locate these files, you need to go to your disk's folder ( C: ) ----Programfiles(x86)/microsoftgames/ageofempires/data/sounds.drs
of course if you've installed the game with any other method that isn't with the original disk, you'll need to locate where it was installed in program files, wether you used the microsoft store or Steam.
note that the sound effects for the expansion pack are located in the "data2" folder
Can you show the tutorial how to unpack AOE 1 pack? I just want to hear myself the sounds.

As far as I know, it's part of the 1953 Hollywood stock sound collection, in which I think it is the sound of an actual camel.
The cannon sounds at 2:46 are also part of the same collection.

Funny story: as a kid I played a lot of demos.. By far my favourite demo was AOE2 - I've spent incredible amounts of time playing the one campaign and the random map game you get to try. One day I convinced my parents to buy the game for my birthday - only I didn't know enough then that the "2" at the end refers to a whole different game.
I came home with this game, and I kid you not I burst out laughing at the hilarious sound effects instead of the realistic, epic ones of AOE2. For a long time I thought I got a fake game that was made to make fun of Age of empires, but I still loved every second of it.
There was an AOE1 demo as well, including a demo for the Rise of Rome expansion pack that included wonders and other things you normally needed the full game for. Amazing what you could get for free - I enjoyed the AOE2 demo as well, especially the The Conquerors expansion pack (which had its own demo version)

For all AOE-freaks like me out there. Many sounds are from the Heart of Africa sound library from Spectrasonics and it was also used for other games.

It's funny how many sounds it shared with other games like Seven Kingdoms 2, Total Annihilation, Counter Strike and even AOE2.
In the days these games were published, most of the sound effects were part of widely used sound pack discs, most of these games used the exact same sources, you can see an example with DOOM in this video:

@SIDA - Its actually normal for a kid to assume something like that, children are still building their worldview so to them a ship that's alive is not as ridiculous as it is to us. Also, children tend to excersise their imagination quite a lot so they tend to want to explore weird ideas because it feels fun and new, especially in a video game where everything in it looks very different from real life.
