- Pinball and arcade machines require constant maintenance. This week the left flipper on my Jurassic Park stopped working. Lets dig into the machine and figure out what needs to be repaired!
The board you are pointing at at 2:54 in the video is the shaker motor board, not the flipper board. The flipper board is larger and further in on the left side of the cabinet.
Thanks for this video. I just bought this machine... my first ever pin... and my head was spinning when things started to go wrong. This video made me confident enough to lift the playfield and look for the errors, and I found them all!
Thank you. I can't wait to get it up and running at full power again.
+iwinez nice man that's awesome to hear! If you have questions just shoot me a message! Be sure to subscribe!
Your ROMs have the Last Action Hero "coming soon" preview. Pretty neat stuff :)
Never played or seen this pin before. It seems to be one of the better Data East games, though.
+Conversus Wears Vans [Paul P.] (Paul) version 3.00 of the roms were released last year by a member on Pinside and it vastly improved gameplay!

There is different FET part numbers to drive the pop bumpers solenoids. I'm guessing some pop bumpers coil resistance is higher than other pop bumpers coils and need a FET that outputs more current?
The FETS are turned on/off by PIA chips that are turning off/on the pop bumpers solenoids. I'm guessing when a ball hits a pop bumper it turns off the pop bumpers switch which sends a signal to the PIA chip which sends a signal to the microcontroller and the microcontroller outputs a signal back to the PIA chip to turn off the FETs to turn off the pop bumpers coil?
I'm not sure if this is the correct sequence of events that happens
so, you didn't found the screw, and left it dropped in the flippers insides?. I hope there is no any board there to do some short circuit.
No I had the old screw but the nut was slightly stripped so I just installed a new nut, screw and link. I would def never leave any pieces of metal in there to potentially short something!
Uh dude that's not the flipper board
