They have two different styles, Nas is more lyrical Jay is more about wordplay and flow. Nas covers more content while Jay makes more hits. In my opinion Jay has the better discography and I'll take RD over Illmatic. Illmatic was short and very raw, the lyrics carried it. RD had it all, story songs with dialogue , more tracks, lyrics, and flow switching. It also had Big and that one two on BK's finest with that Ohio Players sample was just crazy...
