      Nah its a verse he wrote and memorized entirely, which stull makes it a freestyle and him a genius, but no this aint no freestyle, off the top guys are obvious because they pause alot more between bars and u can hear it forming live, like mc supernatural can rap about his surroundings, Eminem sorta can but his freestyles today are boring, in the 90s Em used writtens with off the dome and was hilarious, best MC freestyle off the dome until they remember something dope they wrote then switch back

  • @williamvillagomez69

    Nas is straight up dope. He's a true poet. It's a tough stride when it comes to free styling & keeping it style..sometimes the beat can stumble up your verses. It's like surfing with a surfboard..surfers dream of catching that perfect wave ..but settle for every coming wave.nah mean..No emcee is perfect. In fact the emcees that admit fault are wiser than the ones that don't. Nas is wise intelligent. So think twice on what you might say about Nastradamus. Peace.

    Nas is a studio rapper not a freestyle raper. It makes perfect sense to me. His rhymes are deep so they require him time to develop and freestyle is just off the dome (many times making no sense other than grabbing words that rhyme). No biggie Nas.

The dude who is hosting the show worked there from 06 to 08. If this was 2001, Big Tigger would have been there with Nas, and the set would have been completely different. Nas said those lines because they were fresh in his head. The first part of the freestyle is from an unreleased song he did over the same beat called “Foul Breeze”, which he recorded before Busta’s “NY Shit”, and the second part is from “Carry on Tradition.”

      They have two different styles, Nas is more lyrical Jay is more about wordplay and flow. Nas covers more content while Jay makes more hits. In my opinion Jay has the better discography and I'll take RD over Illmatic. Illmatic was short and very raw, the lyrics carried it. RD had it all, story songs with dialogue , more tracks, lyrics, and flow switching. It also had Big and that one two on BK's finest with that Ohio Players sample was just crazy...

      Not dissin J, but Nas is overall a better rapper.

    • @tghetto5
      @tghetto5 10 років тому +18

      ZERG107 Nah you're doing freebase bro. Jay has like a million flows. Nas struggles when he tries to do any drastic switches to his flow. Just look at "if heaven was a mile away." Or that disaster on Hip Hop is dead when he's rapping like Dick Tracy or some shit ahahahha. Jay often switches the flow two times a verse and every verse of the song at times. I could explain it and break it down in person but you have to have a love and an ear for flow switching to really appreciate it.
      As for wordplay. Nas might have a bit of a higher vocab but to me Jay has the better and more creative rhyme schemes. I don't know, in the end it's all personal opinion but to me I like listening to Jay for flow and rhyme, he's also usually better at making tracks that I like.

      @@RTSlays8348 The Bible teaches that God is holy, just, merciful, gracious, loving, and sole creator(Genesis 1:1, Psalm 24:1). The Bible also teaches that man is born with a dreadful sin nature(Psalm 51:5, Ephesians 2:3) and transgressed God's law(Romans 3:23). Since God is the righteous judge, He will punish sinners according to His eternal standard. According to God's word, that punishment is an eternal,physical, and conscious torment(Daniel 12:2,Matthew 25:41, Matthew 3:12, Revelations 14:10-11, Revelations 20:10) in Hell-separated forever from the goodness of God. The good news is that God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ who is equally eternal(John 1:1) and equal in rank and importance(John 5:18, John 10:30) to the Father and the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin to be the means for escape from the domain of darkness and wrath of God for those who repent and believe the gospel. Jesus lived a sinless life and voluntarily and lovingly died on the cross by taking upon Himself our sin and the wrath of God that His elect deserve. Jesus was buried and resurrected(1 Corinthians 15:1-5) on the third day from the grave- demonstrating His power over sin and death and is seated at the right hand of the Father (Ephesians 1:20-23). Your good works or deeds of the Law are not sufficient. Jesus who is fully God and fully man is the complete and perfect sacrifice. It is not grace plus merit, faith plus works, or even Christ plus unrighteous man that will justify the sinner. As a vile wretch, you can be be justified(declared right before God) by only free grace alone, through faith alone and in Christ alone(Romans 3:28, Ephesians 2:8-9). Will you repent(a change of mind that results in the abandonment of sin and turning to the Lord Jesus Christ) and trust in this unchanging Gospel(Mark 1:15) or will you remain an enemy of God?

    Haha, I've been into rap since I was like 11 and thought of become a rapper when I'm older. I'm good at making lines but my freestyles be like "Yo girl's ass was a sight and I was wearing Nike, oops it was just Adidas that was a... sike!".
