I feel that Tusk steals the lime light later on though, he's just so powerful, especially with the orb of averice, Tusk was instrumental in most of the battles immediately after his extraction, especially in the tower
Igris actually didn't level up the same way as the other shadows. Part of his power was sealed away. This caused him to gain strength much slower. But when JinWoo finally unlocked it, Igris became 2nd strongest again next to Bellion.
I don't think Baruka would even be able to talk dude, shadows can't talk until they reach certain level, and he wouldn't have reached that level until waaay later, Jinwoo would have already known about the monarchs by that time xD, even Igris took his time to be able to speak. I like to think that the author did it basically to show us that Jinwoo can't do everything just because he wants to, he has to follow the rules of the game.
Igris original rank is marshal (currently sealed) so baruka is nothing compared to him. He's not even on par with Beru before Beru became a shadow but he can be one of Jin Woo's strongest shadows.

The reason why Baruka didn’t become one of Sung’s shadow soldiers is because the story told us that you can’t recruit everyone you want and if a shadow is too strong, then you won’t be able go get him. So Baruka was chosen to be the “sacrifice” of the show but dammit I really would’ve loved to see him fight alongside others, especially alongside a certain someone who I won’t spoil but his name starts with B kheekk lol.

That’s why Sung couldn’t keep the queen cause she interfered with his control over them and if he had full control of the queen that wouldn’t be an issue. Igris in his peak was able to shake even lower monarchs to fear, he was the right wing of the first shadow monarch and was 2nd strongest in the entire army, he also had a Nickname that even monarchs couldn't forget and was instantly recognized after then saw him "blood red commander" Tho igris is weak now, it's due to his powers being sealed (reason) for him to test the next shadow monarch and not make the challenge impossible it is also the system's preparation, but as the story is near it's end where jinwoo has awoken after fighting the ice, beast, insect monarch we could see the seals of igris being lifted and also when jinwoo has finally reunited with the "real" Shadow army that was the last will of Ashborn.

These shadows gives special buffs and nerfs. We can also get the blue spirit Golem or stone golem from season 1 in episode 4 when jinwoo completed his first instance dungeon killing kasaka. The new name for the golem is big rock. In the light novel and manga kamish was jinwoo's shadow for a Short time but he will permanent in the game. I loved the game's story that the story still a bit different being the same story. I would hope that the devs would add solo leveling Ragnarok charecters in the game after completion of the original story. Even though there isn't much to add from solo leveling Ragnarok. Actually the hunters will be weaker if they get changed from there original form to Ragnarok form except for few hunters.
Jinwoo couldnt able to tame baruka, because of baruka's knowledge. It's still too early in the story for jinwoo to know everything just by asking baruka if he bacame one of jinwoo's shadow soldiers.

Okay so a quick fix, Igris doesn’t level up with Jin Woo he gets a little bit of his former power back. He gets all of his power back when Jin Woo becomes the true monarch

The system didn't let jinwoo extract baruka. I'm not a manga reader but the reason is jinwoo didn't extract baruka cuz baruka knew some kinda secret that the system didn't want jinwoo to know.
If he did alot of secrets would be told much earlier
2 reasons. First one stated in this video and the second one is he can only extract 2 shadows of the level A and higher
Okay so a quick fix, Igris doesn’t level up with Jin Woo he gets a little bit of his former power back. He gets all of his power back when Jin Woo becomes the true monarch
Not like that..The amount of power Igris had in JCQ..that grown as he level up..That's why SJW became 110+ level but igris can't talk..but as then SJW became Shadow monarch Igris started to talk cuz his powers did back

Baruka is was able to beat Igris because his powers were restricted. If Ashborn chose Igris as a final test to Jinwoo, that shows how much he values Igris.
So in the fight versus the monarchs it is very clearly stated that the other monarchs know how dangerous the shadow monarch is because he can use their own dead soldiers against them. I don’t understand why there are so many people spamming the comment section with comments saying Sung Jin Woo can’t turn another monarch’s soldiers into shadows.
