CEO : We need to put a 360 deg camera on it. Designer : But we have already completed the design. CEO : I don't care, I just want a 360 deg camera on it.
Talked to the company they were very fast to reply and was very pleasant to talk to about questions about lovots price and was able to derect me to a English version of there web site and am hoping to see these in the usa for people to busy to have a pet like me :) thank u lovot
I just found out about these and they look so cool! I would love one. I'm in Australia, I hope they release internationally soon :) I'm glad they were responsive and I hope the english site gets a bit more info
it has petting sensors. Thats interesting for a robot. Acculating the petting signals into the AI . To produce a responce. Its important to let the AI know when it did a good job, and when it did a bad job . Correct or Wrong result . Each sensor is like one button. And pressing many buttons in a soft stroking motion is different information than a short hard pressure . Signal Time dialations on parallel lines.
Wow! I never thought about it like that. I have four of the classic Sony Aibos and even the ERS 7 isn’t quite that complex. Yes, it has touch capacitance sensors in a row on its back, but I don’t think it registers a finger running over all three as a stroke. It will however register a brisk tap on any of the three back sensors as a scold as well as the one on the top of its head. With that mini touch sensors, no wonder Lovot is around $5000.
Some houses won’t accept pets, and also these are cheaper than real pets, when you just buy it, they are more expensive than a pet, but the total of the price to have one of these (only the robot) and a pet (Pet, plus food, plus care, plus toys, plus vet) yeah.... you get it.
As someone who has many pets but also health issues and getting older, I'm interested in robot pets because if something happens that I can't take care of a robot anymore, it's not a problem (hopefully it can be reset for someone else). Though if this model is subscription-based, we need competition because that is really silly to have to "subscribe" to a bought product. Also I do not want a robot constantly plugged to the internet collecting personal info: I just can't wait that consumers make this a real "problem", with all these toys today collecting info from unaware children. Connectivity should be an option for home products, not an imposed solution.
It looks like a nice product, except for it's prohibitively expensive cost. In addition, for something that has so much sensors and tech it should be able to charge itself. It's a shame that it doesn't, since people would dislike having to constantly charge these things.
An expensive, complicated, and over-hyped witness avatar of the Japanese’s fear of death. Cuddles, perhaps, but no comfort... Loneliness is Japan’s raw heel.
I want two right now. I can see these going around my dental practice making my patients laugh and dispel their anxiety.
That is one of the few instances where I think something like this could be useful (or at least a nice gimmick).

Basically that camera knob in its head is actually the head and the face is in its chest... Weird design indeed

very expensive teletubbie
When can we expect it to start attacking their owners?
Wednesday. It's always at Wednesdays.
Their too pure
:))))))
It would be kind of cruel but you can throw it in a pool if you start being worried.
Just go play with other friends the eyes will turn red and kill ur friends what i got that from childs play 2019
These seems so excessive. But at least the robot won't grow old and die. Right?
I feel like I would wake up in the middle of the night face to face with it holding a kitchen knife.
I like it. I Lovot. I want some more ovot.
I want it now

Pretty sure my wife will "Love" this little fella ALOT more than me, Especially when the camera spins around
i have to wait a whole year to get one
5.500 dollar lol
Omg get a real pet already, lol.
Jj W not all places allow pets. Then again if you can drop 5k on a robot I’d hope you’d own your own house at least xD

@@aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa4932 Untrue, this Lovot has a subscription model so you will keep paying after the initial buy.

World Domination: One Lovot at a time.
I have a kitty cat! Real live warm lap lover!
Four grand for something that's inevitably going to get kicked to fuck when you're in a bad mood and it annoys you.
cute asf
$5.5k is a bit much, I'd pay like $4.5k max.
I would love to test a sledge hammer on one of those little beepers.
00:58 so pretty much spy on you?
😂😂 I could get 3 -4 dogs which are better

Humans suck though. Pets and robots are way more reliable.
1:22~1:41 팔 파닥거림
$5,500???
Get a dog.
No. Nope. Nah. No thanks.
