- Therapist Tutorial: In this video, NAT instructor Andy Eckley demonstrates the application of the Bowen therapy treatment protocol for treating the hamstring muscles.
Bowen therapy, also called Bowenwork or Bowtech, is a form of bodywork. It involves gently stretching the fascia - the soft tissue that covers all your muscles and organs - to promote pain relief. Specifically, this form of therapy uses precise and gentle, rolling hand movements.

I went to see somebody several years ago I went to see him twice. It was incredible The practitioner adjusted me by just a few lights touches ( prompts)
in the affected area. It was just incredible. I need another Bowen practitioner. San Francisco Bay Area pls 🙌🏽‼️
Went for this therapy 10 years ago, after over training on weights. Could hardly move my right arm at the time. A few random touches here and there, and suddenly it was fixed…and still is. Totally shocked by it.

Lie on bed face up with knees bent, feet flat and raise the buttocks in air.
Usually I have no sciatica pain but I had periformis pain; fixed one and the other came.
I do these exercises to keep the muscles in balance.
That will be 1000$
😘😘😘😘🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I don't like that move with the elbow at all! I think it's very risky
Very risky for what ^^'
@@Novae51 You can easily injure the hamstrings.
@@totallyraw1313 Imagine what happens with the tendons when you walk, run or jump, those forces are incredible. If your problem is the lateral pressure, think about when you shuffle with your butt when you sit on the edge of a chair. Pretty similar!
We have tough bodies, don't worry ;)
Cheers
@@Novae51 It's nothing like that. I experienced torn hamstring muscle fibres once when a moron massage therapist took his elbow to my upper hamstring then pressed in firmly and moved it across the grain of the fibres.
@@Novae51 LOL Exactly! Which is why "randomly" moving the ankle manually for a few seconds and then 'tapping' the ankle is supposed to do what?!? Send a signal down the hamstrings? ROFL. Imagine the signals walking and running!
