- Install of the Mid Fairing (V1) and Rear Seat Cowl on my 2019 Honda Grom. It went a lot smoother than expected. Very simple and makes a huge difference! I didn't know until after I saw the before and after shots how badly it needed it! Inexpensive and a must have customization for a Grom, in my opinion..

Looking good, love that color. You need to protect her with our DIY, 5 year, ceramic coating CSL (Crystal Serum Light) and C2V3 as a topper to act as the sacrificial layer. That will keep her shining like the day you rolled her off the lot.

I will say, I have this exact same setup and the factory orange is just a LITTLE bit lighter than the aftermarket orange. They match very very closely but if you stare at it for a few seconds, you can spot the difference. Not a big deal to most people but I’m a perfectionist and the little things still drive me crazy 😂😭 still really like the kit but the fitment of these aftermarket fairings are a bit questionable but it’s 100% what I expected from aftermarket stuff that’s somewhat cheap like this. Worth it though in my opinion.

How much is your rear lowered? I put a 6” lowering kit on the rear of my 20’ Grom and it drug everywhere.. I had to take it off. 🤬

Will this fit on a 50cc bullet scooter? They are shaped almost identical to the Grom but already has a mid fairing
The part that isn't smooth is if your running a Chimera Intake and you have the fairing rod stabilizer .....the screws they give you for the fairing kit cross thread super easy with the rod smh.
When you sit down on it does the plastic touch the ground and if it doesn’t how close does it get to the ground
I just got the same fairing v1 gonna put it on my 2019 blue grom
It does not touch the ground when sitting. I don’t think it changes a whole lot since it’s the front of the bike. I’m only 150lbs though.
Dang you scrap the street with the added fairing? I’m sure your weight brings the bike closer to the ground.
vtecdpn100 lowers it in the back. Not much in the front. But yes I have to avoid pot holes at all costs hahaha
Steve_MP5 well that’s scary! Since I’ve found your channel I ended up getting the front and rear lowering kit with the stretch and I’ve been contemplating on getting this. I’m not a heavy guy(145lbs) but I don’t want it to catch on dips etc.....
vtecdpn100 I don’t recall ever scraping on dips in the road. I’d hit going into pot holes and transitions in elevation sometimes. If I can avoid I do. If I can’t I gun it and pull up on the front end a little and hope for the best haha. There is no damage though. Doesn’t happen as much as you would think. I’m about the same weight at 150ish. You’ll be good. Get it if you want it. Drastically changes the look of the bike.

I hate that you have to drill into the plastics with a screw, cheap design. Over time I dont see that screw biting good after oil changes and what not. I think velcro would be a good option but then you got the screw hole to deal with. Hmm. Also, that back piece just doesnt seem too secure....toward the front, just sits on top of the plastics. I was really digging these plastics but after watching video, Im not sure now. Especially with the rear piece. Also, can you remove the white pieces and still install? That way they wont be getting scratched up. Thanks for the video.
Leonard the tail piece is actually really tight. It sort of snaps onto it. It’s not coming off without pulling on it pretty good.

They aren’t safety glasses. They are sun glasses. The company does make special Sefer glasses though.

Hey bro, just installed this same fairing kit and man I can’t even get down my driveway. Even at an angle, it still drag on the bottom of the kit!! How is it for you?

is the rear seat still usable? Since you made it wider, wont it be unusable? Or at least not as comfortable?

I don’t see why not. Just see what the description of it says if it will or not. I don’t think there is any difference in the body from 19 to 20
@@Steve_MP5 Yeah it does fit looked over everything ordered my full v1 kit and cowl along with the carbon tank and a toce full kit should be a nice addition.
