Love the video
I hope you will heal real quick! You are legendary.
This video happened to pop up just when I was searching for a video on how to master my Ollie
Is it the perfect width to start skating? I will try the steps to get better tonight!
This girl is on fire!!! 🔥
This is perfect timing for me as I’m currently practicing just about every day lately to get my ollies down! Thank you for all your hard work!
Bummer about the foot. But watching your vids convinced me to get a deck this year. Im 40, it’s never too late to start. You, yes you. Learn to skate. Heard that enough times to go for it. Thanks for the motivation
Started skating like two weeks ago and your videos have been so helpful! Glad to know you're still at it!
Hope you are healing fast! Thank you for covering basics...it all helps
Aaron made a time machine to go back in time to help the skaters. Such dedication! Love your vids
I have been skateboarding my whole life and om still learning how to ollie better from aarons awesome trick tips!
Just bought a board after watching this, I was practicing in the grass and the board wouldn’t stay on my front foot. I remembered would you said about leading my foot forward with my knee and my first try after remembering that, I got a super high Ollie. Still haven’t done it clean on the pavement or while moving but breaking down the leg movements really helped
Fantastic!
Thanks so much - I love this beginner series. It's so helpful!
I watch these tutorials even though I can already do ollies, it's just fun to watch these videos
In addition to learning the Ollie.. I super appreciate the sound of your board.. I just cleaned my bearings and my board sounds a bit weird so I thought I did something wrong. This is my first time ever really owning and taking care of a board.. I’m goin to buy new pivot cups tomorrow.. those aren’t universal, are they?
I love ya videos ,,, im skateing for a month now and i know already to do all tricks becaurse of you thanks for the help i love yall
I’m trying to Ollie from flat ground to the grass but my muscles can’t react fast enough for me to and I don’t know wether or not I should wait until I get my new board to actually start practicing while rolling or what
I hope your foot heals up quick
i got the motion down, and it works stationary in the grass (which i know, i shouldnt be doing) but whenever i go to concrete, im so scared that the board will kick out under my feet. I'm really mind blocked with this one. Maybe its too early since im skating for 4 weeks only.
I have no interest in the giveaway. Glad you are still doing the work of not only teaching skateboarding but also the dedication to getting new skaters of all ages for years. Thats why i wear Braille gear 7 days a week and ride Braille boards. The mission you guys have set out to do is a gift to all skaters from beginner to pro. Thank you
Since I can barely rocket ollie. Does it make sense to improve my rocket ollies, before moving on? That way the timing off my rear foot will be worked on? Hope my question makes sense.
PS: Love the training format. Some of us get stuck in perpetual beginner mode. So this is all cherised.
Thanks for make this tutorial, hope you getting well, thanks big boss.
I need help with pushing
We just got a new store called Ollies, I wonder if they sell skateboards.
Never a better time to win a free deck :}
9:04 The wind
I have all the steps but my mind just doesn’t want me to jump 😂😂
you need to know that you never jump from the tail in slow you will see that when it pops leg already in the air
Free deck please
Brasil!!!
If I'm blessed with a free deck it'll get donated to a kid at the skate park.
Is it the end of Braille Skateboarding?
Yo, If You PIN This, I will begin Skating again! 🤘😎

Fundamentals 🧱
Little tip for bigger ollieing. Your ollie only goes as high as your back foot goes once you have the motion down. Practice using your core strength to bring your knees higher. Work out that gut if you have to, it's human nature to get stronger. It's not about doing a huge leap up, it's about sending your weight where you can land on your feet realistically. If you wouldn't jump something on foot, don't jump it on flat skateboarding. Be safe. Have fun. Be cool to people you run into.
That broken foot healed super quick😮
LOL, filmed this before the injury
@@brailleskateboardingthanks for gittin’ back in time before u broke your foot and filmin’ this video. It helped me a lot🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Aron’s been trying to teach people how to do an Ollie for a decade😭
Trying? lol pretty sure he succeeds at that
more people were born in 10 years than you've seen in your whole life ☠️
Probably 3% of people are new and learning to this channel.
The sound from a mastered ollie is one of my favourite skate sounds!! 😊
been skating since i was 12, im now 44 and totally agree master the ollie before you move onto other tricks
Master of Ollies, Aaron's pulling your Strings! Making you Ollie high and jumping off things! 😁

53 yr old here. I wanna learn how to skate. So here I am. Lesson 1. Now I need to get a board. Don’t know which one though? Dogtown or SMA still around?!
Both are!
@@ChemXFX actually I just remembered that DT tuned into SMA? Or am I wrong about that?
I'm mad at you arron 🙄
Why
Great content!
Thanks so much!
Yıllar oldu bu adamla başladım ve ekip dağıldı bitirdim yinede sahil kenarı müzik ile düz pürüssüz yerlerdd düz gidiyorum haraket yapmamaya çalışmama rağmen dayanamıyorum 😄 keşke türkce alt yazı olsa 10 olmuştur izliyorum seni ama ne dediğini anlamıyorum
Great breakdown
Thanks Ryan!
@@brailleskateboarding You’re Welcome!
My Ollie’s are teenie tiny and and only the front two wheels go up
yo please send it to me i just started skateboarding and i have a horrible skateboard and i want to be just like you🙏
I wana free deck!
Ive been trying to master them for this past year lol. I still gotta perfect them
You got this!!!!
Out of curiousity, do these types of tutorials, with repeatedly showing the motion, cause you to replace shoes faster than just normal skating? When explaining early on where your front foot goes, that's like 12 ollies worth of dragging in just a few seconds. 🤔
Yes the shoes will go but so will the tricks
Back in the day i could ollie about 2 almost 3 feet
Now its about a foot but still having a blast
Thx man, helped me out
My deck is so bad ngl
the way i think of it is to jump drag and side kick kinda
Perfect
Horse jump 🐎😂
Yes
You Tube magic... and AK in the game again!
I've found that popping your board is less of a pushing down motion and more like flicking your foot downwards
Hello im watching you over 8 years
My back foot always disconnects from the tail when doing ollies. It looks really sketchy and I can't get rid of that issue. 😢
Excellent step-by-step breakdown. I think I could actually do this now.
_CHOLE_ coming Thru with the clutch tip: Gallop the Ollie
trick tips, jamba juice and monster
0:15 So the ollie is the basis of standing on a skateboard. Got it!
The ollie is the basis of riding a skateboard! Got it!
The ollie is the basis of turning on a skateboard! Got it!
The ollie is the basis of transition! Got it!
Its feels like im watching skateboarding made simple volume 1
What size is your board
"...thee most important skateboarding trick in skateboarding, hands down, period."
AK this is the perfect time to have Choel learn to skate!
Challenge- see how many tricks she can learn before you’re healed up🤙🏼
That surgery musta worked 🤪🤪🤪
how much should i be leaning when moving ? normally when i oldie when moving im not sure which way/ how much i should be leaning.
I still have the original instructional video
I tried collecting all your boards missing a couple of them though
Thank you ❤
I am only learning my Ollie until I have achieved maximum pop!
I've been grinding for like 2 months. But theres no quitting here.
Get well soon Aaron. ❤
I love when Aaron techs tricks.
Even though I knew, I watched the entire video
I literally searched for this video title the other day perfect!

18 minutes to teach something that could be explained in a short.
I feel like a wizard doing magic when I skate lol 😂
popped up same time i'm relearning ollies
Thank you for the tutorial. Hope your foot heals
Thanks for making this video aaron it really helped👍
destroyed 2 pairs of shoes, still can't ollie
Chole will probably never see Chloe again…. 😅
Ummm... a pop shuv does not require a ollie.
Also I dont think a pressure flip requires a ollie.
A Boneless also has no ollie, a eggplant has no ollie, I could go on but a ollie is not the base for all tricks.
Also for a Ollie you dont really need to slide, a no comply would be a ollie with no front foot.
The Skate is like a lever, pop one end and make sure your front foot is high enough to allow the tail to come up after it reaches your front foot.
Example: Take a skate kick tail with one foot and hold hand above the front bolts a little under waist high.
The board should then hit yout hand and the back end will raise up.
Thus a ollie does not always take a slide.
Gotta try these tips later this week. I'm still at the small rocket ollie stage.
Greetings from Estonia 🇪🇪
Aaron, what happened to-you make it we skate it..
Impressive how you did this video with a broken foot :D
(obviously i know you filmed this probably before your injury)
Commenting for a chance to win a free deck ;)
I think learning tailstops first helps as well it gets you comfortable with getting the tail down.
Im from philippines hehe Im gonna try this tips im a new skater im working to my ollie right now to get better ollie thankyou for the tips sir ❤️🤘
I have a video idea where u guys play a game of skate in crocs
I'll comment this comment for a chance to win a free deck 😅 i just finished shredding my board to a point pieces fall off as i skate
Jump and make sure the board sticks to your foot.
Whenever I’m doing an Ollie my back foot is slightly off the board on the ground when I land it
I used to jump over 5 decks easy, I had to stop doing them becsuse I would always have a worn out griptape, shoe with a hole that has shoe goo, and a razor tsilerd deck. So now I can't ollie crazy high consistantly 🤷♂️
I thought Aaron broke himself! The magic of the interwebs. (I’m kidding)
bro we need Snappy to join braille
Hi i love skateboarding because I enjoy it but unfortunately my skateboard just broke and I don’t have any money to by a new one
i really enjoy skating but im in the stage where everything is hard and im still trying to master my ollies, i went to a skatepark yesterday and relized how bad i rlly was so can u maybe post more "above" basics so skaters who arent total beginers can get better a little easier? (also hope i get the deck mine was soaked at the park)
I wanna try a braille board
Does the foot need a booboo kiss 😊
