I don't own a Sherman and as I am just beginning to learn on my V12, I am constantly looking for cool mods and researching different wheels. The Sherman has always been appealing and I shied away from it as my first wheel, but eventually I might get the Sherman Max or maybe the next InMotion wheel later down the road! This is a great mod and I'm loving the seat and your 2.5 version! I would like to see more detail on your LED install specifically how you chose to bend the aluminum around the corners and bottom gap. Happy New Year! Keep up the great mods and video's too!!
Maybe you can use pony pipe clamps as a "extra pair of hands" to apply pressure on sides of the seat when you use heat gun to reform seat, that way you can slowly increase steady pressure while heating the seat.
I would actually love to test that seat on true off-road conditions. I suspect that the additional point of contact will greatly improve dexterity for going around obstacles and dealing with bumpy terrain... 🤔
Do you think it can still hold well enough with just 2 clamps vs 4 of the quick release clamps? 2 clamps in the center and fill the sides with a shim or notch in the 3D print?
Do you sell these... I'm looking for a sturdy seat. I'm a paraplegic looking to be the first paraplegic on a EUC Veteran Sherman which would give me the ultimate freedom
You put them together however best works for you. I put the design up for people to be able to use as they saw fit and included the editable file as well. I used bolts.
Thank you. While I agree that you can get the other seat off in about 1/4 of the time this one would take you, the entire process of installing or removing this seat still requires less than a minute.
Now, I understand why you are not making these to sell. Spending endless hours making something for $5 profit does not make sense, "here are the plans, go make your own, and put it facing sideways of that's your thing"....lol.🤣
Fantastic
Thank you
Yes.
This seat is next level.
Great innovation! I love seeing everyone's creativity helping the EUC see world evolve.

I love this seat… I still have it. Although I did crash and rip the seat a bit
Creative as heck!!! Thumbs way up! Thanks for contributing to our community
Thank you and can't wait to see what people can do with the design.
Thanks, it's really helpful! Thought about using wood and another type of motorcycle seat as well after watching the first video 👍
Glad you found it helpful
Nice work TS!
Mate U bloody well rule. Im drooling in my coffee now. thx for your wonderfull contribution
Thanks for sharing
This newer version with built in storage needs to be sold as a full unit. I'd easily pay $250+ for one.
Great innovation
Why not on both side like a traditional unicycle seat?

Similar to what I actually just did. It worked great. V2 of the seat is well underway. Video to follow…
Great mod 👍👍👍
Thank you 👍
Love it 🙌
I love the seat! 🤠👍
Thank you

Are you selling the seat? I'd love to buy one.

Great question. I suppose it might work, however I figured better safe than sorry.
👏
Can you send a version to the company so they can mass produce it?

Currently I am not offering these for sale. I have however made the V1 files available on Thingiverse.
hmm...where's the link to that otterbox? :)
Great video, smooth brains need not apply for this one, higher concepts like basic geometry and physics still escape some people.
Hello! I've managed to 3d print your models and was curious how it was intended to put the 3d printed pieces together. Glue?
You put them together however best works for you. I put the design up for people to be able to use as they saw fit and included the editable file as well. I used bolts.
@@BayAreaFPV thanks! I ended up editing and bolting as well.
Thanks! no worries about the rant.. your channel lol

The parts (with links) are listed in the description. 👍🏻

The Seat It’s possible for the commander ?
I have not had an opportunity to see the commander, so I cannot comment on compatibility.
Where can i buy this?

It doesn’t hurt to have it on a boat side
Can you make one for me with both side like unicycle you can ride either way not only One way way I like to buy it from you if you make it both side
