The father (Wole) stayed focus on his marriage as well to his wife (Ruth) + helped her put her past hurt behind her + love her daughters equally. Very good family movie.

Watching this movie brought back a similar experience for me. Just like the girls dad, I supported my daughter who joined the Cadets at her school and did really well moving up the ranks in it. Good movie. Both Ruth and her husband r great actors. Both girls were good actors. Just because Rurh had a bad experience in her life doesn't necessarily mean your children will experience it. They have to live their own lives. Thank God for her husband who understood how his daughter felt and was by her side because the daughter was suffering. She knew what she wanted. I'm glad that Ruth got over her her dilemma and started acting human again. Music is a universal language. People can relate to music when they can't relate to anything else. Good movie.
