Thank you for this episode. It brought tears to my eyes twice (good tears). Please keep featuring the struggles of houseless people so we keep them in mind and don't just pass them by as if they were nothing. This has helped me so much when I encounter someone homeless I have greater compassion and empathy towards them.
This made me so emotional and its so sweet that they went back to there families :)

A common misconception about blindness is that affecteds' see pitch black, but it's not true. The *ABSOLUTE* worst (unless it's damage caused to the retina by actions like staring at a solar eclipse etc.) that they can be experiencing is really blurry vision, which can be treated by a simple 10 minute surgery.

Hits home. My story is similar to the black guy. It's just that I can't go back home because I don't have the courage to do that, and I just want to stay away from them. Not that my family had any abuse issues or drinking related issues because we are hardcore vegetarian.
I just don't feel I will have the courage in my heart to go back and see my parents, brother and sister after I let them down way too many times. I am not even sure if my mother or father is alive anymore.
I guess I will live with the burden all my life, and I do hope that God gives me the courage to carry that burden until I breathe my last and cremated.
A lot of times these are just so predictable but the homeless boy seeing his grandmother snuck up on .

Omg that was a tear jerker. Love the story can you make a story and study someone with COPD emphasemia. It ight show people how these people suffer I've had ths since I was 40. I was very young diagnosed I'm now 56. And every day life is such hard work I'm always thinking I'm a burden as I need alot of help I'm glad I got at least 1 daughter out of 5 she is my angel n my rock
