You were ON FIRE in the ABG video, Serena! YES, I have been uncovering where I can heal in my relationships with women, too. I noticed I stopped having as many deep friendships with women in high school because after a series of friends moving away (4th, 5th, and 7th) and even being bullied by the "popular girl" in 1st grade, my child self attached it to "all my female friends will leave me or judge me harshly". Of course it's much more complex than that! But our child mind holds onto perspectives we've created and until we recognize and reprogram. Love you Serena. I'm grateful for your vulnerability and sisterhood
Ahh Tiffany, thank you 🥰And thank you so much for sharing your honest childhood experiences too. It's been so eye-opening to realize just how much our past memories shape who were are now and the fears we often still hold on to. I'm so grateful for you and your sisterhood too, Tiffany! You've been such a huge part of my journey of recognizing and reprogramming. 💖
I definitely felt this video. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and about the mindset of abundance! Looking forward to following your journey of growth and success! 💕
excerpt from my keynote & book: "What I and many other asian americans experienced was capitalism applied to education. It wasn’t about learning, it was about performance. We were trained to believe that, if we couldn’t achieve perfection in the classroom, we would surely fail outside of it."
LOL OMG CANT LOOK LIKE YOU'RE TRYING TO LOOK GOOD - GOTTA PULL OFF ACCIDENTAL MODEL STATUS CUZ YOU DONT WANNA COME OFF AS VAIN BUT STILL WANNA LOOK GOOD 😂
I can totally relate! I think at the time that i felt my lowest was when I constantly compared myself to others. It wasn’t until after I had finally gotten what I wanted that I realized there was no point in having that attitude at the time. Thanks for sharing this new way of thinking! Hopefully I can start with this attitude of abundance first next time ☺️
Thanks for sharing your thoughtful reflection, Doris! Ahh yes, I'm so glad that we have new opportunities every day to approach things with a healthier mindset 😊
Yeahhhh, I loved when you said something like imagine if we all thought with the mindset of abundance...honestly we’d all be helping each other grow and cheering for each other. I love that. It all starts with ourselves and our friends around us, amiright?
Totally resonating with this message! Thanks for sharing Serena ✨ Only constructive criticism was I wish you didn’t say “Mindset of Abundance” 5/6 times before explaining what it was

Yess, I feel like it's something that so many of us wrestle with! Glad you connected with it! 💕
So relatable!! Thank you for putting out such amazing content!
Aw I'm glad you connected with it!! Thanks for your support!
yeah tbh i feel like that mindset of comparison and envy was really instilled and reinforced by parents comparing me to other kids
also relatives and a few friends' parents being hella condescending. i already got that from home - didn't need it from others -.-

abundance = life is not a zero-sum game. someone's awesomeness doesn't take away from your awesomeness
