Hello. I am a naga, just want to clarify about the videos. We nagas in the past were called the head hunters but we don't eat humans. After the Christianity came we even stop head hunting. And about the language, out here in nagaland we speak nagamese, English,hindi. About that 'Ao', it is not the common language spoken out here but it belongs to specific tribe, its their dialect. But after the arrival of British Christian missionaries in 1839 to the Nagas ( nagas are found in Arunachal, Manipur, Myanmar and few Eastern states of india ). And in 1872 at present Nagaland in a village called Molungkimong. Slowly and gradually we found Christ and became more obsessed in worshiping our living God while also fading our head hunting practices for good. Today Nagaland is known for one of the safest place in world for Women. Women are given equally importance in the society, they are well respected and infact doing much better than men. Today 99% of Nagas are Christian, and we do not practice any immoral practices like our ancestors. Nagaland is also known as Switzerland of East. We have 16 official tribes and each tribe has their own respective festival and language. But our official language is English,and yes we can speak hindi too. My dear brother and sisters, if you ever visit Nagaland in near future, we welcome you with open arms.
