I recorded some homemade musical jingles, with the mic (microphone), while I played them on one of my electronic piano keyboards. For Lorimar Musical jingle from 1971-86, I chose those the 2nd Electric Piano Keyboard (instrument) and played the 1971 Lorimar Musical jingle, which is for the Lorimar "LP" and "Line of Doom" logo... and the special Lorimar-Telepictures logo, also.
James TheLogoMan For Lorimar-Telepictures homemade jingle, which I played by ear, with the Thick Saw (instrument) on one of my electronic piano keyboards. The long version, which I played with the Thick Saw (instrument), though I hold down on the highest note so I switched to 2nd Electric Piano Keyboard (instrument) in a hurry as I played three ding sounds. The short version, which I played with the Thick Saw (instrument). And finally, the warp speed version, which I played with the Thick Saw (instrument), though I played three musical notes, because after all, it really is a warp-speed version.
James TheLogoMan And here's my homemade version of the 1988 Lorimar Musical jingle (inspired and special thanks to Mark Snow), which I played by ear, with the Thick Saw (instrument) on one of my electronic piano keyboards, along with the whoosh sound effect I imitated. I recorded the homemade musical theme (standard musical and warp speed musical), (which I played on one of my electronic piano keyboards) and the whoosh sound effect I imitated, with the mic (microphone).
James TheLogoMan And one more thing, some of these Lorimar logos are silent, including the 1989-91 Lorimar Television still script logos, because each sitcom (Perfect Strangers, Full House, Family Matters & Step by Step) show musical theme plays over this logo at the end.
Hey. Lorimar and Telepictures didn't combine until 1986 and went on separation in 1989, because Warner Bros. acquired Lorimar and Telepictures, you know. |:-o
James TheLogoMan I saw the prototypes of the Lorimar-Telepictures logos until they picked the one that is used here and copyright dates for the shows had the Lorimar-Telepictures but Lorimar is in its font but when L-T decided to just put Lorimar name in the copyright in 1988
And Mr.Keaton says Flo.
And Syndrome says Holley shift-well
Great job!
Thanks. :)
Just missed the registered trademark symbol at the end of later Line of Doom prints.
I think the jingle for the Lorimar Television (marble background) goes like: (low) B C# F# A Ab E (high) B (hold until fade).
Thanks for the musical lesson. ;)
James TheLogoMan You're welcome. ;)
The Lorimar Television logo jingle has A futuristic whoosh, leading into a relaxing 6-note synth-horn theme.
Right.
James TheLogoMan Yes exactly. I found that description on a website.
Wow looks like a video game
0:39 - C5, G5, C6 in parallel with G2, G6 in parallel with C2, at the end - C7, B6, C6
Now, it tells me. :)
