Jordan you need to be taking the young birds from the racers when they are 4/5 weeks old or feathered under the wing . If they are the size of the mealy you showed then you'll probably lose alot as they can already fly . The mealy looked about 9 weeks it's wattles are starting to whiten up. Your going to have to keep them in at least a week before you let them fly out of the loft and when you do just open the door / Bob hole and walk bk and sit and watch them , let them come out on there own . if you put a pigeon trap , make sure that it has a enclose aviary as well because for viewing purposes for them to know & teach them how to enter a trap door , revised your main door to a smaller one & put up a mini release door for them , just my suggestion to you , you may research it at the youtube channel for you to have an idea how to built it or renovate your loft to a bigger space , so that they can fly around inside similar to your barn , ok bro.

Can you update your racer pigeon breeding and check their nest? And☝️I'd like to give you an idea only if you'd like to do so, you can build a breeding loft closer to your flying loft and choose a few pairs of your choice in the racer loft and breed with them separately, what do you think about that?
That flying loft is pretty small small,i wouldnt put more then a dozen birds in there bc u have had some problems in the past of over crowding and that is how they get sick. Also if u want good birds u need to get rid of every single feral asap

Hey man from Sydney u need to feed your flying pigeons a tablespoon and a half for every one that is in there and don’t feed them before you let them out the me hungry they are the more they will listen
