That's a shame that you can't post the pics from the Philharmonic. I would think the copywriter holder would benefit from the exposure. That would have been a great place to see him. It's a pretty small venue. Very cool knowing how much he appeared in the Village voice. That was like my Bible growing up in the pre internet days. It was the best place to find out about all the concerts around NYC. And always had great articles on music, art, culture and much more.
@@BELLY_BUTTON_WINDOW Thanks man. The village voice was the best news paper in NY for years. Unfortunately it's gone now. I have a few saved in plastic that were great additions of the paper.
@curbozerboomer Looks to be the same white boots that JH wore at RAH on February 24 '69 while wearing the green 🍏 pants. Don't know what JH wore at the FEBRUARY 18 '69 RAH Farewell show.I had that album; well, the 2nd pt. anyway. MJ man , what uh dork❗Had he not been stealing money for his clubs using the monies that Jimi, Noel & Mitch performed live seemingly non-stop, we coulda seen these fantastic performances.
Why would he mention her? She was a groupie, a heroin addict who tried her best to convince people that she would be, eventually, Jimi's wife! She was a strident mess of a woman, who died a few months after Jimi, likely from an OD. Jimi had several other women, who insisted they were his favorite!...Jimi was a player.
@@curbozerboomer1773Lot of people r fascinated by the BIRDS & CHICKS❗ that jH swung with, starting with the ORIGINAL FOXY LADY, Faye Pridgeon, Carol Shirokey( Got jH his 1st Fender Strat.), Diane Carpenter; who bore TAMIKA in '66 & of course Kathy E. Hey my friend, fair comment! She definitely starts to figure in the story more prominently, but always in a peripheral way, plus have to be mindful of "community standards". Stay tuned!
big thank you very much from beautiful gorgeous Bangkok Thailand 🇹🇭 🙏 🌺
You're welcome!
In 2002 I went to a Hendrix bar in Koh Samui. Don't know if it still exists but I bought a cool tshirt there, kap!

The Philharmonic Hall concert was recorded by a member of the audience. A 3 song soundboard tape was also recorded.
Okay!
Well...most all of us have seen those Philharmonic pics, many times over. Those funky white boots that Jimi wore, remain in my memory bank!

I reckon! They're awesome!
Was this re-uploaded due to more shenanigans by others in the background? If so, thank you once again for this excellent episode.
Hey my friend, yes. Had to remove certain images at the request of the copyright owner. All good!
@@BELLY_BUTTON_WINDOW That's annoying. It's good to know that it's all sorted now, however. Thanks for your reply, and keep up the sterling work!
1968 was the year.
Hey Toney, just about to drop the December 1968 episode! 17/2 19.00 GMT. Cheers
I noticed you've never mentioned Jimi's quasi girlfriend Devon Wilson. They had a love- hate relationship but they were very close.
