I hope the truth comes out soon so Halil can punish her and be with his love Zeynep. It's true when they say one bad apple can destroy a whole basket and that's snaky aunt. She makes everyone miserable.

I never perceived quite so much how lonely Halil is, how he suffers in silence and longs for connection but lost the trust and instinct to do so without a mercenary goal. But he is lonely, very much. I really love the soft conversation in this episode, I hope it continues. Gokberk has a lovely voice in low tones. ☺
Yes, he feels incredibly lonely, almost as if he's wearing a mask given to him by his aunt. There's a distinct lack of purpose or meaning in his life. Zeynep's persistent questioning is beneficial; he needs to open up and address these emotions.

@@jasiabrown6180 I never thought of that - always assumed the sister was there for him. But you're right - with his sister he hides the hardest an ugliest parts of himself, tries to protect her. With Zeynep he also protects her but he shows his self, the id. He's also lying about some of the facts but he shows his emotional truth to Zeynep. And she is there for it. She doesnt turn away - wants to know more, and has a caring instinct that covers him too (the medicine, the food, the nursing). That caring and nurturing side has got to be attractive to him in a whole other way after losing his mom and having the wicked witch "care" for him at age 15.
