@@floralshirtrichard I’m a newbie to Nevada hiking. I could camp in the Carson range for days and be happy. But really want to complete TRT thru hike. Would love to get a small group to hike, backpack and film the experience. Check out Big Bend National park for some truly awesome trekking. I want to go back and spend a week or two hiking. It would be another awesome documentary on the region. The canyons on the Rio are exceptional works of nature.
@@floralshirtrichard I'm from Knoxville TN and I've seen a lot here...I think our mountains are fallen Castles of the Nephilim Giants in the Bible..When the flood happened it knocked down the castle rocks and then covered them with dirt and soil.If your ever back in Tennessee,let me know,I can show you places.

Just completed Mt Rose Summit on 10/5/23. It’s truly an epic journey.
It's an awesome hike! Have you done anything else in the Carson Range? I'm really liking hiking the peaks.

Will do! I've been dreaming of doing the trt thru hike. I just dunno if it's possible in the winter. I've been doing some research.
