That rifle is designed to cycle with but in shoulder. It has a very short cock on close bolt which stops about an inch from your eye on the back stroke so you never have to take your eye off target. The "Mad Minute " owes it's name to Lee Enfield 303 rifles. Proud to own a No4 Mk1.
Currently .303 ammunition (box of 20 cartridges) is roughly $60 or more depending on it being SP or FMJ here in Canada. Makes those target practice days almost not worth wasting it. Not to mention most places don't have it.
Im the only one who noticed the bolt cocking sounds of the enfeild sounds like the mosin nagant bolt cocking from the game red orchestra 2 or at least the first clip nice vid
That's the 300 yard battle sight that they are using. There is a flip up vernier sight calibrated from 200 yards to beyond 1000 yards attached to the battle sight.
I know this is very late and I don’t really expect a response, but if someone does happen to come across this, where could I find one of these bad boys and how much do they cost?
Just Josef Josef The Gopnik WWII through to modern warfare i believe, a lot of middle eastern groups use them and even the canadian troopers used them up until very recent years
Just Josef Josef The Gopnik everything from the 2nd half of WW2, Korea,The Suez crisis, Vietnam, Yemen, the Northern Ireland Troubles right up until Desert Storm 1. (Thats just a list where it has been used by the British Army). It is still in use around the world today with multiple other militaries. Was/still is, one of the best bolt action rifles ever designed. (My opinion). ;)
I learned long-range shooting on the Lee Enfield no 4, but when I see these guys firing I get the fringes. They are not experienced and are dangerous. This rifle will log a bullet upto 4 miles and they have no backstop, reckless. They haven't the first idea how to handle this masterpiece, not one iota.
This channel is gold. Not too much talking, directly rocks in the range.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
He barely talk
GunsOfTheWorld you are going to shoot the camera that’s like 1 centimeter away from the barrel of the gun on 1:07
Nothing worse than watching someone unbox something spend 5 minutes talking about how good the box is 🤣🤣
I will never get over that look of the Lee Enfield. Such a great rifle.
SupremeGnome 38 but do you like the Mk4, Mk3, or something smaller like a carbine version?
Mxpx1112 _ I would rather a full size, but I can’t decide whether mk3 or 4. Maybe 4.
Very great
Ha me mi piace Mk 3 e il Mk4 .il fucile Lee Enfield il fucili preferiti. Lunga vita alla Gran Bretagna 🇬🇧
One of the best rifles in my opinion, Lee Enfield is just amazing.

Big Boss z Indeed
The most beautiful bolt action rifle for me. The design is awesome👌
holy shit, when it comes the view in front of the rifle at 1:10 I automatically moved my head sideways when he shot!
Same
I love the cup like, hollow ratcheting sound the bolt makes just before and just after case extraction.
One of the Best Rifles Ever Made
Uno dei fucili preferiti. Lunga vita alla Gran Bretagna.🇬🇧
Can't beat the sound and power ofthe Lee Enfield, awesome 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I think one of the best videos out here behind the gun and in front that with the shot out of focus great sounds letting the gun do the talking 👌
Coincidentally Dunkirk comes out tomorrow
R6S_Fuze Britain was still using the no1 mk3 when Dunkirk took place
@@chexquest87 which is still an alright rifle

You fellows handle the recoil from that rifle rather well. When a cadet I shot those and they bruised our shoulders. Admittedly, we were just boys :-)
Mad minute!!
Im picking up my M1 Garand in 2 weeks, saw one of these at the gyn store ... You better believe im grabbing it if its still there.
Where did you get this beautiful rifle?
Lord that ammo is expensive
You can get surplus 303 brit for a good price. But you can also reload them like what I do.
*laughs, then cries in Arisaka
I can literally feel the word British in this It just has that feel
0:49 Просто офигенный звук у выстрелов))
0:03 the sniper in Battlefield 5 on the top of a hill in iwo jima
Gabriel da Cunha, I saw it too.
I know I've been reading too much Southern Victory, because I immediately called that Enfield a Tredegar.
what state is this all filmed in, the scenery is really nice.

That rear sight is huge lol
Luckily, the ladder sight has a smaller aperture. Otherwise, it is very much awkward to use, IMO.
Mr.M1Garand 25 Front you mean? The one closest to the barrel?
@@ytpmichaelrosen9190 the hole in the rear sight seems to big
And yet outnumbered 4-1 it stopped the Germans 8n 1914

I know this is very late and I don’t really expect a response, but if someone does happen to come across this, where could I find one of these bad boys and how much do they cost?
Stephen P thanks I appreciate it a lot
