I am Greek and I have to say that Jewish wedding is very similar to Greek wedding.
Jews and Greeks are very close and they have very similar cultures.
@@user-ry6kc2tt4h I love Greek weddings too. I like the part where the guests pin money to the bride and groom. Thank you for pointing out the cultural similarities. I can see it now with the dancing, yummy breakfasts, certain parts of the Greek Orthodox services etc. I'll look into this further. Take care.

I have a question, cant seem to find the answer. what is the significance of placing the ring in the right forefinger during the ceremony?
I'm Jewish and nobody has ever been able to answer that question for me, lol. I've asked my observant mother, religious school teachers, observant friends, etc.
@@cwctlh I actually found it I believe on chabad.org. it's meant to show the people who are attending the wedding that she has accepted of her own will and it is placed on the index finger for ease of showing that. She can then move her ring to her wedding ring finger after the ceremony and reception.
