I've been a Protestant for 60 years and a fully ordained protestant priest for 34 years. I converted to Catholicism on June 25, 2016. I was directed to the Catholic Faith on a bright sunny morning by our Blessed Mother whom I've never known - a life changing experience I'll never forget. Since that day I started studying Catholicism; I always believed that Catholics were not true Christians.

I was a cradel catholic for 40 years.Then i left for protestism for 28 years.One day i was thinking about the catholic church .Then the tree i was sitting under seamed to light up in a bright gold light.That was all i needed.Iran to confession and i havenot missed mass in the last ten years. As a wandering Pentecostal I recently visited st peter basilica at the Vatican and was completely blown away by its magnificence. It was like being in the throne Room of God. I'm exploring Catholicism and found this teaching to be extremely helpful and helped me overcome years of confusion.

Come on home. There is one Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, and one Church that Jesus established. Your wandering should stop once you experience faith from a Catholic perspective. We are far from perfect but faith isn't about us it's about God. He loved us first as in all of humanity, our journey is to love Him back as He set up in the one Church that Jesus founded.

60 years old and I am just learning my Faith!! I pray daily, Consecrated to Mary several years ago, 4 rosaries daily, Chaplet, The Stations, etc. and I didn't know half of what your teaching! The Lord is so merciful that He would take our prayers from the past and present and apply them to the future. This is why we should never loose hope or cease praying, not only for us but for others. And especially for the conversion of sinners, including ourselves.
A long time ago, I sat 4 young boys in my prayer room, and taught them how to pray the Divine Mercy, chaplet, I did it so that at the hour of each of their death, the merciful savior would save them. This is because of the promises our Lord made to those who pray the chaplet of the Divine Mercy. I am convinced the Lord showed mercy to the one boy even after suicide. The other two boys were friends of my two sons

I also had eight years of Catholic School, Sacred Heart, first through eighth grade and then to a public school in 1967. I remember my general internal response to Catechism class was confusion and resistance, I don’t know why. In those days you didn’t speak up or ask questions. I became a very depressed and rebellious teenager. Fr Chris truly is truly inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Fr. Chris, the Catholic Church is the True Church. I don't think apologies are necessary to people outside of the Church who are taught differently about End Times. We should be excited to share the good news of the Ark (Church) and bring people into the fold. I wanted to share this (I shared the first one) but can't now because of your message at the beginning. There is only One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church , where the true teaching authority of the deposit of the Faith is found, and we must try to convey this to our Protestant brother and sisters. I mean this with charity. God bless you father!

How does Fr. Chris do it? I have been avoiding watching “What Happens at Death, Please Be Prepared!” for weeks because I was afraid. Now I am proud to say I have just finished the second video and am actually looking forward to the third. I am going to follow all the steps, confession being one (l love this : “I don’t remember, he confessed it.”), to be the best I can be and when I die I will say, “We have to thank Fr. Chris!”

Have mercy on all those who love you and delivery them from all evil.
My mum got ill when i was 6yrs old till she died 44 yrs later n i was her sole carer, i have no siblings etc. Her sufferings (i was also very sickly), only drew me more to Christ's sufferings n Passion though my parents never once took me to Mass. That, is such a great suffering... please parents, take your little ones to church! I am now nearly 58 yrs old n i still cry in agony because of this n how i ever ended up a consecrated hermit only the Lord knows because i said my 'enough' at age 41 as i felt my soul was in danger of perdition. I so loved God since i was a little child. Because of fear being caused by my dad, i was putting them before God. I was not allowed to go n buy milk at 41! Even now, with my dad in nursing home i feel strange to have the freedom to go to Mass anywhere i wish, speak with others etc. Finally i feel i am beginning my vocation after nearly 12 yrs! Yes, i prayed etc, but i was still being controlled. Perhaps our Lord used these battles to make me love Him more esp sufferings. I live on a hill and across the bay, an anglican church at night has a cross lit up on top of it. I used to look at it at night n pray n suffer n on sunday mornings i used to crying asking our Lord, when was i going to be able to go to Mass. I thought i would in my sixties, but He in His goodness called me earlier. Fr. Alar, please keep these lessons going n i love your passion that you show n share with us. I'm not a Catholic but this is a great teaching by a bold and passionate teacher. I love how he doesn't generalise or put down non-Catholic believers and followers of Christ, but love even more his boldness in preaching scripture. I'm a big fan of Bishop Sheen and now I am a fan of Fr Alar. Some Christians outside of the Catholic Church also believe that the so-called "rapture" passage in Matthew 24:40 may be talking about the unrepentant being the ones who are taken from the field, not the elect. I've been wanting to watch this series for some time now so that I can discover Catholic thought on "The End Times" I pretty much, if not completely agree with everything that has been said. May Heavenly Father bless you all!
