This is the top score in the 360 mode rankings, and a simply amazing performance, showing off some really cool techniques. Check out the Stage 3 mid-boss milking and the Stage 5 boss scoring, to name just a few examples.

I just grinded for 30 minutes trying to get em and I still haven't managed to get even the first extend after the big cannon. The timing is pretty tight. EOJ is such an awesome player.

eoj didn't play this, he just records replays that might otherwise get lost

I’m so confused on how this game works when it comes to getting huge combos like that. I half get it.

From what I’ve heard, the basics are:
Killing enemies at point blank drops gems (max 500). You can use these to activate Kakusei, which slowly drains gems; while it’s active, enemy shots turn purple and become much denser but slower, and killing enemies causes them and all their bullets to turn into gold items (max 1000), as well as giving a significant point multiplier.
If your gems run out, activating Kakusei triggers Kakusei Over; enemy shots turn red and become faster and more aggressive, and killing enemies makes them drop gold (but does not cancel bullets).
If you have both gems and gold, you can activate Kakusei Zesshikai, which drains both; this is a beefed-up form of Kakusei with greatly-increased scoring potential, and killing an enemy cancels their bullets and all on-screen revenge bullets for massive points while also releasing a bunch of revenge bullets.

too much on bullet hell, like, you just have to clear it with bombs or combos that erase 'em
