    This is the way to do it - no music, no gabbing - just the facts presented clearly.
    Nice job!

    I installed mine I got from you and I like the feel a lot better, doesn't feel like my machine is eating itself. My swivel motor only has 3 of the 4 mounting bolts, and no way in heck I'm taking off the turret to put the 4th in, so hopefully this cushion is what I need to make this thing last.

    I just put mine on youtop 15 and it fixed the crazy swing . I still
    need 2 90 degree male to female to make a better fit . 3 full turns out . Went to try and broke wires walking it , then a fuel pump motor. Worth the money get one before they sell out . David from idaho worked get testing before it broke .

    Well I should have waited about 8 hours. Put mine on this morning before it got hot (shop currently full of junk that won't move). Fairly easy connecting hoses. I did the opposite on the pressure setting and turned the screws out until they had no spring pressure then turned in three turns. After probably 30 minutes of fiddling found about 1 1/4 turns in was about perfect. The machine still stops turning when the stick is released but not the instant hard stop. The bucket probably travels an extra 20 inches after the stick is quickly released.

    I have a 3000lb mini-ex with 24HP and joystick controls that has a lot of boom-bounce build-up due to the powerful engine, light body and springy joysticks. In your opinion, what would be the best tactic to reduce this; 1. Cushion valve on the boom cylinder, 2. Better electronic adjustable joysticks, More counter-weight, Something else?

    Awesome video I’ve watched all your videos and I am planning to buy the oil cooler for my H15. You should make a video explaining how the flow control valves work that would be awesome I am going to purchase some of those as well.

    You should put the fittings to the cushion valve on your store because I can find the cushion valve no problem but I cannot find the fittings anywhere

    On normal valve blocks there is option of port overpressure valve. It's internal and compact. Could be standard. I've seen larger ones have overpressure valve on cylinders and third thin hose goes to tank. Can have overpressure valve in multiple places

    Easier way to explain the issue is basic physics
    F = M*A
    Force = Mass x Acceleration
    When you start moving the cab, the acceleration is limited by the force (hydraulic pressure from the pump)
    That force then stores energy in the inertia of the cab (mass) rotating.
    When you release the controls, all of that energy stored has to go somewhere - a quick stop means a high acceleration which causes a large pressure spike in the now closed off hydraulics.
    A cushion valve acts to bypass and limit that peak pressure to a safe level, cushioning the movement from an abrupt stop to a controlled slowdown.

    anyone know if this will help if I put one on the boom lift to calm down the Wilde horse behavior?

    Could you not protect the system with small air chambers on each side to absorb the pressure spikes?

      You could put accumulators on each side, but they would not be able to vent the pressure, only somewhat dampen it

    I deathly see where you're coming from deathly like the product only concern I would have you're pushing on it by hand so max you're pushing like 200 lb so what happens if you have a root rake or a grapple attachment on and you're holding like a decent-sized log on a hill would spin until it faces down the hill thus for relieving the sideload
