Very helpful, thank you for the guidance! I came to UMass with a marketing degree but later switched to finance with the pressure that a marketing degree isn't "legit" enough as a degree. Although I really think I'm leaning towards switching back to marketing. I am a content creator who is going to use my own personal brand to test out new marketing strategies and the internet has so much to share, I don't think the finance culture is the kind of person I am. Start applying and networking for IB internships, you’ll get the most $ after graduating that way. I wouldn’t worry about any certifications at this point. Just focus on your grades, networking, interview skills, and applying for internships.
Just saw your channel and subscribed . My son is currently studying finance at USF, Tampa . He likes it but still thinking if he is right choosing it not software engineering. Do you have videos about internship and opportunities after graduation ?

If he has the determination to learn to code, than software engineering offers the best life-balance opportunities, with most jobs offering the opportunity to work from home. The money can also be just as much as a lot of finance careers, if not more.
Help me, i am currently doing bachelor in finance major, and its my start of last year, my friend has given me a great opportunity to work with him in his Digital Marketing agency and i see potential in his startup that its going to take off, but my opportunity cost is going to be compromising on study and and my family wants me to continue Finance that i planned earlier before starting university.

Depends on your university but usually Calculus for Business majors and stats for business majors.
