As a Republican.. I still think the party is kinda wimpy.. Quit being so nice and accommodating to democrats. They will not return the favor.
It's not like we nice and yes we might be accommdating,we GOP are like adults that let the kids (liberals) whine and yell untill it's get outta ✋ and we deal with them ie ( during the civil war when they refuse to end slavery)...the next one will be when we tell them to end pushing socialism/communism agenda and they refuse we will deal with them again.

@Rock Watson It's all the young kids who want free college. Our generation worked for ours. There are other means to get a college degree without the indoctrination. C.L.E.P out of those classes, do online college and look into apprentice training. How about tech schools?
@@gj91 Which generation are you from? I ask because the price of college was WAY cheaper 15 years ago and going back further EVEN more cheaper. And that's important to note. As of last year $21,000 to $38,000 PER YEAR for public colleges! Again what year did you enter college and what job paid for it? Just curious. I will say, "apprentice training" and "tech schools" is a good/better suggestion than college.

Go to the library and get a C.L.E.P. book. I grew up in a era where not everyone could go to college and most didn't because it was financially out of their reach. Why are these kids so privileged? I don't think tax payers should have to pay for other people's kids college. I worked my butt off to pay for my kid's education and I don't want to work my butt off to pay for Theirs. Why don't these kids figure out a different solution to this problem instead of taking from the tax payer.... I mean.. they are going to college are they not?

@@gj91 I've never heard of it. My point was, as a nation the wages for the working class have been stagnate for decades when you count for inflation. The wealthiest pay less than the poorest in PAYROLL tax...Therefore, our country should be able to afford it if instead of upping the billionaire's payroll taxes, you gear the money towards things like college for "these kids". I mean republicans like "trickle down economics", well there ya go. Ay, maybe I'm wrong.

Obama wasn’t a savior. He let the banks get off with no consequences and the DOJ pretty much only went after small brokers. They let all the ceos and directors of the big banks get off completley free and actually gave them almost a trillion dollars in bailout funds.

Forcing an insurance company to accept pre-existing conditions is not how insurance is supposed to work. That's buying insurance AFTER the casualty has occurred. The only way that could work is to force EVERYONE into the risk pool and jack up insurance rates.

Need to remove restrictions for buying insurance across state lines. Make it more competitive and like buying car insurance

Health insurance (rates) are regulated within each state by each state's "Department of Commerce and Insurance". Each health insurance company that wants to sell insurance has to have their rates (and rate increases) approved by that state department. If the state doesn't allow the full amount of rate increase, the insurance has to either accept what rates the state offers or not sell insurance in that state. If only a few insurance companies choose to offer insurance, consumers are limited in insurance choices. If the state wants more choices for its citizens, the state might have to allow higher insurance rates. Each state has different costs because of demographics/urban/rural/number of doctors, etc. If we're allowed to buy insurance across state lines, we've basically allowed the federal gov't to take over the role of what each state was doing.
