Although GM wrote Fastlove as a upbeat pop song, I always thought that its lyrics were sad. Adele saw through that and sang it in a completely different way that makes sense.
May be I am wrong, but I think Adele's version of this song has missed the emotion of the line ending of the song "night, sign, and in your eyes" part; for me this kind of modification has killed the passion and emotion of the song; every GM version always had the emtion and softness of these line endings, these are the beauty of this song, only good singing or over emotionally modified tone cannot give this song a good justice, love u George Michael, they killed the heart of this song

Wtf is wrong with these Fast love covers. People are trying to make it a slow lovesong, but in fact it is a dirty, powerful and energetic song. This soft version doesn't really work. George could put some real testosteron when he was performing this.
Why destroying such an iconic and dance song into this sad piece that Adele fucked it up? George was all about swiping strange sounds and create awesome music, this piece is terrible and sad, not the way we want to remember our Funky George
