I love this track. Only discovered them recently & really love what I've heard. It would be interesting to take an account of how many great "pop" songs there are in asymmetrical meters. Off the top of my head I can only think of one other. "Lover Killer" by My Brightest Diamond. Most of it's in 7/4. Except for the chorus which is straight 4/4. Great track tho. ua-cam.com/video/yXeTsIFJ3I8/v-deo.html There's gotta be others. I'm just drawing a blank.
I had a feeling they were trying to go with some kind of old English or Scandinavian name with the band,Ohmme and now Finom sounds like a band of rockstar vikings to me I don’t know why
That dog looks almost identical to my dog (minus the beard and tail). I got mine from a shelter in Chicago that got him as a transfer from Oklahoma. The shelter thought he was a Scottish Terrier but I don't think so. Does anyone know the breed?
It very much looks like a schnauzer to me. At the very least, a schnauzer mix. I have been around them for my entire life so, 40 some years But, if yours doesn't have the beard then maybe it isn't because the beard is def. a defining characteristic of that breed
@@aprilwilliams8073 the mystery continues. Almost 3 years later (late reply...I know) and the vets just tell me he's some kind of terrier mix. I see Schnauzer in him. He has a little beard just not as long as the dog in this video.
easily the best song in 5/4 I’ve heard this year

i guess its more 5/8
Definitely 5/8. But how often are we hit with asymmetrical meters in pop music? It can take a little listening to sort it out.

Y'all rocked B'ham tonight! Great sound.
5ives, 5ierce and 5abulous! Matt Carroll is a wizard, he can play drums quietly.
Frivolous and slightly mathematical. Like it!!! A lot!

I've been looking for some new bands to follow and came across Ohmme. think I found a good one!
Really catchy
Fantastic
Yeah, this is lively, charismatic and melodically uplifting - a welcome
cut above most contemporary indie rock.
Above that, yes. But when I think about albums we used to have, like Remain In Light, endlessly replayable because of their complexity...
That was really good
Cool
Been WAITING for more from them. Thank you!
i bud is watching you open for iron and wine right now and sent me here.
Judge John Hodgeman brought me here and I'm so glad. =P

My favorite part is where it just randomly becomes a tool song during the bridge.
Check out Marty Anderson from Dilute and Howard Hello.

Possibly the most repetitive song in the history of music. Thanks for ruining my love of music Taco Bell.
