Porsche seats review - should you replace them with aftermarket?

I once saw (and forgot to bookmark) a company in Europe that was re-popping some seat foam for that era Porsche's. I also saw a guy on FB put a set of 997 seats into a 85.5 era 944, I don't recall the details, but it looked good - it looked off but still factory - he used the 'basic' seat, so minimal power options to deal with.
