Plenty of great "mainstream" music out there too. Listen to it all at least once then decide what you like, instead of limiting your self. Legend has like 9 grammy's and charts all the time so he is as "mainstream" as you can get and still rocks. ;-)

I don't know about anyone else here but I am downloading John Legend live performances the things he does on the piano sound so good by themselves and he is on such a level that the roots dumb his genius and take away from it a little bit they are great don't get me wrong but listen to the live shine on monique or at the university I think and listen to this its not the same

Not usually a huge fan of John Legend in comparison to other neo soul/RnB acts but as a Roots fan I love this. Such a nice song.
