How slavic people became Slavs?

The vast geographical area on which the events related to Turkish-Russian relations in history took place covers Eastern Europe in the west and the central and northern parts of Asia in the east. In this general definition, the Arctic Ocean in the north, the Great Kingan Mountains in the east, Kven- lün (in North China), Pamir-Hindikush-Caucasus Mountains in the south, and the Carpathian Mountains in Europe draw the borders of the region. In this definition, the territory of Europe is separated from Asia by the Ural Mountains.
The region is a vast plain west of the Urals. The Carpathians to the north of the Danube (former Ister), the Balkan range to the south of the Danube, and the Caucasus Mountains between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea are the main elevations. These mountains are connected to the eastern heights of Anatolia in the southwest. To the east of the Caspian Sea are the Altai and God (Tianshan) Mountains, rising in memory of the ancient Turks; to the north of the Altai are the Sayan Mountains and the Baikal Mountains, named after Lake Baikal, and to the west of the Sea of Japan are the Kingan (Kadyrgan) Mountains, separating the Manchu country from the Gobi desert. In the area east of the Caspian Sea, including a large part of the homeland of the Turks, the Karakum desert, the Ki- zilkum desert and the Tarim basin bear traces of the former great inland sea. The Aral and Balkhash lakes are the remnants of an ancient inland sea that have survived to the present day. The famous Chungari corridor between the Southern Altai and the God Mountains played an important role in the ancient Turkic and Mongolian invasion movements in the east-west direction. The Ural-Altaic tribes influenced, mixed, fused and exchanged cultures with each other in this environment.
They are generally dolichocephalic (long-headed), blond, of medium height. However, due to the intermixing of tribes over the centuries, mesocephalic or brachycephalic people are found among them. The fact that Turanid and Mongoloid types of people are also found among the Islavs proves that the two races have been mixed for many years for various reasons and that small groups have melted in this mixture....
