It's crazy how she and some other people can do this in public let alone TV. The whistle register is EXTREMELY delicate and can crack or lose key like 10 times easier than the normal chest register. So is AMAZING how she does this in front of other people. She is so Brave. That's why I love her

If ur cord is built to hit whistle, it's as easy as yawning. That's why she could even hit whistle with her mouth close,and not all singers who could hit the whistle register have that ability. That's how easy for her cord to create that sound. It's as easy as talking for her.

the only way artist now can hit those notes is through special editing in the studio. its like a special effect in her vocals. she is just amazing. Never ever am I going to ever hear that kind of high notes again from any new artist. in face even back in the day Mariah was the only one who could pull this off.

She can do amzing runs, skip 3 octaves into whistle without missing a beat, change the tone, change the volume and other stuff.

As for today, I believe she still has them, but she chooses not to do it because of the risk of it failing. You can only expect so much from one person. Even the greatest singers get damaged.
I tried 1:15 - 1:20 and got it. Then my boyfriend said “is there a bird in the house?” And then I laughed and my voice cracked after that. I lost my voice and I have to text people everything. Please be careful if you are not a professional when/ if you are trying these whistle notes. If you do not do these correctly they can mess up your vocal chords.
