needed a specific bus part in a pinch drove from Waterford California to there,he had it the same day for me waiting, super cool place it takes you right back in time, it's a legit old school VW shop rare as a split window bug😊✌️
@@EMPI_Inc hi Chad , I bought a dune buggy a couple of months ago now and I'm having a charging issue, how can I reach out to you for some one on one assistance ?
Bought front disc brakes for a ball joint front end car in the Chevy pattern from Empi. Three out of five of the holes that hold the wheel on in the disc had only 3 1/2 threads. Bought an Empi single center mount carb (Weber clone). Idles OK. Runs above 3000 rpm OK. Won't run at all between idle and 3000 rpm. This is a stock engine with no mods other than a header. Empi sells you a carb set up for duals in the single kit that needs all kinds of modification just to get the car to run.
@@EMPI_Inc I sent the disc brake kit back in June for a refund. Appletree VW in Michigan was kind enough to take them back. I think the part number was 22-2985-0. I contacted your team on May 22nd and Henry Mayeda told me they have sold two hundred of those a month and no one ever has any issues. 3.5 threads do not meet anyone's standards to retain a wheel as far as I know.
Good dude’s over there at Bugformance.

the Bugformance crew is great!
I live in Inkster Michigan and the nearest real dealership is about four hours northwest of me. Making it very hard to do much of anything.
Hey James Chad at Appletree Automotive is ready to assist and is located in Hart , Michigan, a little over three hours away
