I've played lead guitar for the past 39 years and performed live gigs the past 28 of those years. YES, guitar music (Rock, hard rock, classic rock, blues rock, southern rock, ect.) or any music that musical instruments are involved in are pretty much dead. The Friday and Saturday night live band gigging is going away fast. Pretty soon we will be able to hear a pin drop. Rap, hip-hop, techno, k-pop and j-pop are what 85-90% are interested in. We are just playing to the 10% and soon to be 5% and so-on.
It’s a sad sad thing too.me and my wife miss the days where you could go in almost any bar and see good live music and if you would have told me at 16 when you are 45 rock will pretty much be gone I would have laughed my ass off….

I liked that Pioneer deck with the built-in equalizer since you could get the right mix/sound depending on the interior reverb of your car.
