Literally just got my copy of Follow Me Down from my local comix shoppe, walked home, opened up UA-cam, and saw an interview with Ed Brubaker! Love it!
Due to life in general I'm just now have the time to watch/listen to this podcast 2 weeks later. Marc + Brubaker =gold to me. Ed Brubaker was Bendis before Bendis, he is the protype that Donny Cates is following and learning from.
Great episode Mark, I tried to collect those Brubaker Captain America issues back in the day,so I am happy to see those omni collected editions today you can own a whole series, but yeah nice show
I’m not a comic guy, literally haven’t read one since I was about 10 years old, I remember reading a Spider Man comic back then. But even as a non comic reader I find this dude interesting
Loooooove this chat. I've never read flowers for Algernon but the 2 issue adaptation 'Flowers for Rhino' on the Spider-man tangled Web series is one of my favourite comics ever
Master Class on the business of writing for TV 📺 BlackMan Beyond > Fatman Beyond. Kevin should take notes on letting the guest speak & how enlightening that can be. Suddenly the show has more than dick jokes & whining about net trolls.

Worth checking out the documentary “Showrunners”. Really interesting stuff on these lines
I had a very expressive Teacher read the part where the Kid dies and when they Dogs die. Room full of 6th graders crying
Did they talk about any news?
