Waste Management Commercial Rear Loader Garbage Truck

here’s one of WM’s Commercial rear loaders doing recycling in downtown lombard. this has the cng tanks over the cab instead of on top of it like most WM gassers. it’s also one of the only Peterbilts that runs around here outside of prairie land. It was cool to see it dumping carts in dumpsters and overall cool because this WM yard no longer runs a ton of rear loaders since they lost the Chicago Recycling contract

Not sure what you’re smoking but the tanks are at the front of the body going over the cab… not saddle mount under the body. WM still runs plenty of RLs in Chicago too, there’s a yard there that’s entirely rear load (and Rolloff too). There’s also some other Peterbilts besides Prairieland’s too, such as some former AD units, Auburn Disposal has a couple, and C-Tec has one

OK but they’re not on top of the truck which is what i was referencing. I mentioned they no longer ran a ton of rear loaders out of this yard which they don’t and i said that it was one of the only Peterbilts not the only
