Found channel recently and I'm a big fan I grew up in the streets doin dumb shit never been to prison(not that I haven't done shit that could land me there just been blessed too not get caught lol) but I've been through alternative school, Juvy, court system jail and can identify with a lot of things you say and can tell your a stand up dude keep it up bro love the vids!

Really starting to love this channel. Ended up here a month ago after randomly catching the Shaun Atwood story. That led down the prison story rabbit hole and I settled here. Good story telling, genuine perspective. And I don’t feel like half of it is bullshit.

UA-cam recommended this. Lucky for me, I avoided the gangs. Didn't keep me out of fights, but I didn't have to take orders from nobody but the officers. I preferred my small circle of friends to a crowded ass car that I didn't want no part of.
That said, I worked as much as possible. So to stay on good terms with folks I'd swipe various things for people. I worked in the auto shop and I'd make knives out of fiberglass (sealed and sharpened), and guys would pay for em. Metal detector can't find it.

I don't know you but I'm glad you got out! My son was sentenced at 17 years old to 24 years and he is about 12 years in on his time for armed robbery and I would love it if you made a show for warning teenagers what they are going to lose out on if they pull a heavy sentence. Like family members, me and his mom might die before we ever see him get out.I will be around 70 and his mom will be around 75 if we live that long.I love your shows,peace
How about you learn how to parent your children properly . If you payed attention to what he did he would not be in this situation. Parents need to start whooping their kids ass and not let their kids walk all over them.

I would love to hear what types of reforms you think would make a huge difference in the corrections system. I had always planned on working with male maximum security correctional clients, they are my favorite population, and i loved working with them, but my health didn’t allow me to use my degrees. I wanted to make some serious changes from profit being the number one motivation to actual care and reform to benefit the people that were being sentenced to a revolving door. Any thoughts as to where the changes should start and what they should look like in your opinion? Love your channel and personality.

Death I was propositioned to carry metal back from the welding shop by the Chico' s and I refused. You never know what could happen and that metal end up in you especially over tattooed omg I've seen some of the dumbest shit over ppl not getting their ink WHEN THEY WANTED IT! As long as you have sorrow of heart for going against God and repent he will forgive you. God is not a cruel God like people (or the devil) make him seem to be: he is merciful, loving, understanding, patient, gentle, peaceful and slow to anger. There is no sin God cannot forgive; for anyone to think that he cannot forgive us of our sins would mean that people don't truly believe in the all saving power of his death on the cross. He died for us because he loves us and wants us to be with him in heaven; His death redeemed the fall of mankind when Adam and Eve disobeyed God. The devil will do everything in his power to make you not believe in this. The only sin God does not forgive is blasphemy of the holy spirit, and that doesn't mean talking bad against the holy spirit (Which still is a terrible sin). To blasphemy against the holy spirit, is to deny God's Mercy and reject it, when you are before him in judgment.

Mate, I was going to become a tattoo artist when I was younger. But the tattoo industry in the city I lived in was controlled by the bikey gang. I heard stories of people getting murdered for doing back yard tattoos and taking their business. Also, one of the tattoo shops was shot up because they had decided to include a laser tattoo removal in their shop.
Can you talk about the guards and what they’re like
I was a CO. And some are good and some suck. Some let inmates walk all over them and some want to be a hard ass. Then some like me I was not a hard ass all the time. But I did back my shit up so they did not fuck with me. I would through down with anyone of them.

Know who’s in charge. Otherwise, they will try to be the one in charge.
My experience in women's jail was decent as far as gaurds go. I think it really depends on upper management, bc some may start out for the right reason's and not being there to be a bully or get off on power seeking. But if you have management that let's that shit run rampant with other gaurds, it will be nearly impossible to remain a good, decent and solid employee. Like anywhere I guess, but worse bc of the power dynamic that exists naturally in corrections .
Good gaurds will get bullied and given a rough time, as if they are pussies if they're don't walk around all machismo and gross.
A healthy management will weed out the immature and misdirected anger (that just creates an aggressive environment for EVERYONE) and guide the gaurds who show true compassion that CAN EXIST while still showing control and keeping everyone safe.
I'm in Canada though, and everything about our prison system is different (read: better!) .
I was a guard, and I was pretty laid back, if you didn’t respect my authority and just acted like you didn’t care if I was there and broke the rules right in front of my face, I would be on you, but if you were cool,respected me I would respect you and the inmates where going to have an easy time when I was on duty.

Sooner THAN later usually right ! I hate that when that happens ... lol I got pulled out into the hallway by the Sargent on duty for giving extra cookies and extra large portions to the “big homies” 😂. Passing notes on the food trays was one of the things I had to do ... I hated it... paranoia, but I did anyway.

Your 💯 right I was in Bayside state p and OG asked me to hold the football pool of the prison I had to think if I didn't hold it or if I do hold it I did hold the pools and it was beneficial to me OG hooked me up with mad canteen that shit definitely happens in prison
When I was last arrested (never anything serious...just county shit) but I was on psych and pain meds so I stayed free-world fucked up the whole time. Can't complain.

Shits crazy same shit happened to me in the MD pen ,I was drawing shit for a dude that was tattooing n he got sent to pre release and left me the gun, I was drilling on the blocks n it was str8 cause I had a cool celly n he would lock in overnight in people's cell n I would work all night ,he was catching raw dope on visits we see stayed high smoked heavy ate good n one night they moved me to the dorms, locker Chug n all that left my celly the tv I was going home couple months n I was drilling in the dorm n every gang was gonna "protect me " fuckers wanted to extort me , knowing I was short time I stalled ,the gun broke ,then I need ink but they could make it happen uptown ink ,so I said fuck it n i can now freehand pyramids,and any pointed fuckin star in existence! Shits crazy ,when I left I had a dope habit like on the streets
